I have hooded eyes and always have but don't want to look different than who I am if I ever have this surgery.
My husband has always had hooded eyes from the time I met him (18). I found it to be a very attractive feature. After 47 years of being married he still does. It has never gotten to the place where it has affected his vision at all. Hooded eyes can be beautiful.
Don't do it, if you are happy with yourself.
Approximately 28 years ago, I had blepharoplasty, primarily for under eye bags, but was persuaded to have my upper eyelids done too. The surgeon was heavy-handed, and my eye shape was changed, and I ended up with hollowed upper eyes. I have of course learned to live with it.
Upper eyelid hollows can be improved with fat grafting and sometimes fat deeper in the eyelids can be recruited to fill in deficits
Thank you for this video. I have had one surgery on my right eyelid and 3 on my left which included ptosis correction. My father had very droopy eyes and I inherited them. My left eye is a lazy eye too (vision). My surgeon was very meticulous with the measurements and the result is natural. I'm 65 now, first surgery was at age 48.

I’m 37 and I want a blepharoplasty on both my upper and lower eyelids, but you do bring up a good point regarding how these surgeries age … don’t want to end up looking weird or with doll like eyes in 10 years

Ive never had surgery, 61band now have the Cher eye guant syndrome. Im currently looking into having my upper eyelids fixed. Thank you for this information.

Can fat be added to the eyes? Fat transfer? Or is it took much risk?
You can certainly have fat injections under the eyes it just has to be done by an expert and someone who has a lot of competence like myself. It’s a sensitive area and needs to be done correctly.

With Cher, I also think that her eyes sunk in with age. Many celebrities look like they had a lid lift because they have more eyelid space, but it's the orbital bone loss causing the eyes to sink in. Angelina Jolie is an example. And when they get surgery, like Cher, it looks worse.
Cher should have also gotten fat transfer, not just the blaph
I love the hollow eye look. Great for applying make up
