What makes me feel more romantic in my life is to get up early, as close to sunrise as possible. Then I go out to my back yard and feed the birds. The birds are chirping and waiting for their breakfast. Then I sit with my morning coffee, feeling the morning breeze, morning sun, with my bare feet in the grass and watch the birds have their breakfast. I feel like Cinderella bc they are my friends now! (or I imagine so :j
You should write poetry if you don't already!
I get that, feeding anyone activates our nurturing side which can be but not limited to being a "mother".
Especially sitting watching them have their breakfast whilst you drink your beverage.
Males usually feed birds, then pick up their electronics or even read.
Females typically just are in the moment, just as you were. Plus Mums usually check to see if her children liked her food.
Which you beautifully protrayed with the birds.
No one has to be a mother to be nurturing like this, I've noticed when I bring out this side I feel confident and rejuvenated.

I used to wait for events, people or the "right time" to put on my heels, wear that dress or buy those nice China for myself. I used to wait for a man to by me that jewelry. Then I thought, why wait for the world so I can do all those things? Now, I save up and buy pretty dresses and try my best to wear them, even if at home. I bought that ring that I always wanted and didn't wait for a man. I slowly bought those purses and I even carry them around at home when I feel I left them on the shelf for too long (my sister makes me fun of me for it). I eat food in the cute plates, bowls and platters that I got. I even started buying flowers for my self from time to time. I wasted too my life waiting for the perfect moment! Shopping alone and learning to enjoy nature is definitely therapeutic. Everything your mentioned in the video Lisa I've applied to a certain extent and truly, it does romanticize life and gives it some spice. I wish I could go on the trip with all of you! I am romantic. I love flowers, ruffle dresses and maxi skirts. I feel like a queen when I walk out the door💃 I do my yoga every day. I put on music and dance a few times a week 😊
Hi Lisa! Something especially important to keep in mind when trying to live a romantic lifestyle is to nurture your mental wellbeing. I've dealt with chronic depression, something I still to this day haven't gotten rid of, and high stress. I have found that a feminine, romantic lifestyle will not last long if your mind is in a state of disarray. Great video, and I love your outfits! 💜

My favorite way to romanticize my life is listening to sensual jazz music. I listen while I clean; while I cook; while applying (and removing) makeup; while journaling; sometimes during rainstorms when I just want to open the windows, smell the rain and drink hot tea...jazz music is the perfect compliment to pretty much anything.
PS- I finally watched 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' on your recommendation, and I loved it! It's now my favorite movie. Even though Marilyn Monroe is my idol, I actually liked Jayne Russell's character better. You should do a breakdown on Ms. Russell if you haven't already💖.

Exactly what I needed to hear. I constantly find myself trying to reach my goals as fast as possible, completely staying in my masculine and putting my emotions aside.. after a while this behavior leads to burnout.. Lisas videos always remind me to slow down
Love the Slow Living Day once a week idea! Here in the US you can buy a bouquet of flowers from Trader Joe's for $4! I buy one weekly, but I may starting buying 2 or 3 to spread around my apartment! Your trip sounds fabulous!

What a lovely video! I agree that traveling elevates your soul and enriches your mind. I am so looking forward to my first trip since the pandemic this summer. I can’t wait to attend a concert at one of the world’s finest concert halls, taste a world-famous cake at a hotel cafe (if only I could stay at the Madame Butterfly suite🦋), and visit a fairy tale castle where I wanted to go ever since I was a little girl🏰. It is a wonderful way to escape from the town that does not quite align with my beliefs and personality, and your videos themselves are an escape from a mundane life. Life is too short to have a plain life. I don’t care what others think when I stand out (from a sea of people wearing yoga pants, ripped jeans, dirty T-shirts, Crocs, flip flops, etc.) by dressing up. xoxo 💕💐

This is the life that I live. I have a super flexible job, so I live a slow living lifestyle for the most part. My hobby is sewing, so I sew many beautiful feminine dresses, and then wear them out for an afternoon tea and some shopping. 💙💙

A very inspiring video! I loved listening to all the different tips and ideas on how to romanticize our lives. I loved how you mentioned about the Disney Princesses for we can really learn something from them. They are determined females but they also take their time to look after themselves and exude that feminine energy. That reminded me that since Disney Princesses are associated with some form of animals, I feel that even pets, or animals in general, can help in romanticizing a woman's life. We nurture them and in doing so, both feel relaxed.
