As a green witch in a balcony-less apartment and thus, no garden, I'm so grateful for channels like yours to get my vicarious gardening fix! Also, I just love your style, you always choose unique colors and varieties. ❤️❤️❤️
The bouquets you showed throughout this video were beautiful! If you created them, you have a great eye for floral design! Glad I found your channel.
I did, thank you so much! 🥰
I just am blown away at the variety you plant! Flowers and edibles! These videos are so great. Love the little tid bit of extra information you give as well as your humor! Ha! “Gardeners manicure” hahaha!
I love growing morning glories the dark purple ones are so pretty.
I love your seed videos!! I started some flower seeds a few weeks ago and they’re doing so well, makes me excited to get them in the ground but I know I shouldn’t too early 😅
Your garden will look amazing!!! 😍 It‘s a very nice collection!
The name snapdragon is so great! 🐉 In my language its name is „little mouth of the lion“. So everyone seems to see an animal in this flower. 😅
I’m guessing that’s your Boop 🐛🦋 on the Zinderella? He looks like he’s still adjusting. I hope you raise some more this year and some Eastern Black Swallowtails 🐛🦋 you will need parsley, dill, rue & fennel. I can’t wait to see all of these flowers & veg progress and blooming in your yard 🤩
Hello from Wakefield MA. I love your channel and your recommendations. Would love a tour of your garden in bloom. I’m growing Baker Creek’s chocolate cherry sunflower this year. I ordered from your recommended seed companies last year and was not disappointed.
Pam, I watched this a second time with a notebook in hand - so beautiful!! Do you have a video on turning your yard into a meadow?!
Hey Sara! Sorry I missed this comment til now, I don’t have one like that but there’s some super informative groups on Facebook (ugh Facebook but ya know) that focus on exactly that. I’m on the go right now but I’ll try and remember to link you the one my friend started, she’s got a whole meadow yard!
Took your advice last year & bought from Truelove Seeds.... Rose Milkweed & Campfire Rudbeckia. Both did very well & it was my first time growing plants from seed. Followed your winter sowing techniques. The Black-Eyed Susan's, being one of my most favorite plants & yes my eyes are so dark they are almost black, was so proliferate ,I can't wait to have it in many more spots in the yard. Also loved their Strawflowers-I couldn't stop touching them. Trying Gazania again this year.... funny little flower that opens & closes. Am trying no-dig gardening this year, too. Husband teases it looks like I'm growing milkjugs & cardboard. Happy Planting!!
I’m so happy those seeds worked well for you!! I love Black Eyed Susan’s too! They’re just so cute and striking at the same time!
I love them all. Thanks Pam!
UGH those nature antique shades pansies are gorgeous!!! Geo seeds has oodles of similar mixes for cheaper prices too
these are all so stunning!!! i have light yellow and lilac walls and most would fit wonderfull as a bouget in my living room
Thanks for sharing, they are all beautiful.
Loved this video! I need to grow more flowers.
I’m a sucker for dahlias, gotta get those bright pompoms in there 🌸
Yes everyone needs more flowers even if you can’t dig up your yard for in ground plants make up pots.
very informative! Thanks from a newbie!
I would love to see a video on how you germinate. I always really struggle with it also how you do cold stratification!

Here’s one! I’m going to do an updated one eventually but this one is pretty concise! Also links to my winter sowing video but you can put seeds in the freezer for 2 weeks and then sow them to easily stratify most of them!

Winter sowing/ cold stratification video there!
@@PamsPrettyPlants thank you!!!!!!
🤩 beautiful 😍
I discovered sweet alyssum last year and it's like the ultimate backdrop flower,/ground cover. This year I'm going nuts and I'm just going to dump seeds all over my yard and not care. I don't have room but I love the Chinese aster you posted, it's really cool looking. I'm trying cleome this year and I'm scared, looks intimidating for some reason. And if everything dies I'm going to plant a bunch of zinnias at the last minute because they grow like weeds. I'm trying dahlia bulbs for the first time but definitely worried about that too. Bachelor's buttons have been great for me also. #rambling
I loved my dahlias last year but totally didn’t store the bulbs right 😩 I was so tired and then they just sat and sat and they’re prob dead now lol.
And here I thought I wouldn’t dig them up but it was the cleaning and putting them away that was too much.
If you have older seeds and aren't sure if they'll germinate.
A trick my dad taught me is to put a drop or two of hydrogen peroxide and pre-soak them.
It'll help get through the tough seed husk/hull.
What a great tip! Thank you for sharing!
I have been trying to research deer resistant/repellent flowers and apparently nasturtiums are!! I need a whole bed of the Alaska mix now. 😅 I have one that I got as a plug inside that I am trying to see if I can keep alive inside, but I feel like it is a losing battle.
Haha before you even said remiss i had already said it in my mind… so I think it’s the right way 😂🤷🏼♀️
Pam, you've got me dreaming of starting my own beautiful flowers soon. Thanks for putting this list together! My yard is so full of shade. Hoping some of these will work in my Arkansas shade garden, though we have slightly different conditions. 💚👍🙂👍💚 I haven't started yet. Am I behind?
Love the selections, thanks for sharing! Agree calendula is a must and I sowed amazing grey poppies for this year after admiring yours all last summer. Also excited for the bupleurum you sent me in your patreon seed sharing to pop up in its milk jug!
🤞🤞 I hope everything comes up strong!!
Question, did u do any winter sowing in milk jugs? Just wondering. Thanks for sharing.
