The true final boss music of NINE, which plays during the battle vs Yaldabaoth in its second phase, after you crack all of the golden plating of his body, leaving only the head to fight in the classic SMT final battle style.
SMT fans might notice its a kickass remix of SMT1 normal battle theme.
It's also a secret song in NINE's Premium OST, hidden at the end of the Staff Roll track.
To me it remains by far the best megaten battle song to date, how not to get pumped up to slay some gods and demons when listening to this? - Hry

Your a long time fan of a series, you play a super hard game and reach the last boss... when suddenly part of you realises... you know this song... then it clicks.... suddenly all the worry about the bosses difficulty fades away... because you have fought worse. This is just another Random Encounter.

As opposed to SMT V, where the random encounter theme from III plays when you fight the Demi-Fiend
YOU are the random encounter, and the gimmick for the fight is that he'll one-shot you whenever you appear threatening

@@aramasarenzan3496 it's when you either fail a negotiation or it's a full moon in a random encounter and the demons are so riled up you can't talk to them in the first game shin megami tensei 1.

I'm not saying this out of preference or anything,But going for either of them makes you miss out on a HUGE chunk of EXP,And the game forces you to grind 20-30 levels at one point to continue the story.

You mean as in, a badass remix of the normal battle theme of the game's predecessor, indicating that this god is no different from a demon? Yeah, I second that
@@aramasarenzan3496 not to mention the battle itself. all you do is take out a bunch of giant floating heads in Apocalypse, while in THIS battle you actually peel away the boss's godly shell in order to reveal it's true, demonic form-that is *actually* more pitiful looking than it's previous one.
@@christopherbravo1813 to add onto that, I kinda hate how in Apocalypse you weaken god by calling him mean names and shit. Idk but it always just felt cheesy to me. Much prefer weakening him through raw strength like in NINE

You were speaking some straight fax over here they really disappointed me with the YHVH fight the lazy design of the first phase the underwhelming music which is good in my opinion but does not fit doesn't really fit with a finale of a saga the repetitive theme of the first phase and the the second phase while being good does not really hype me up in time it the sounds it sounds like a final boss theme but it doesn't sound like a final boss theme for an omnipresent enitity who is orchestrated the whole law vs chaos fight so he can stay on top and he finally gets a taste of how it feels like to dethroned from his position to a god into a demon like he has done to countless other gods honestly very underwhelming they really did him dirty with the whole insulting him to weaken him and the power of friendship thing i wish shoji meguro compose the soundtrack because I feel like the soundtrack would be 10 times better if he was in the composer

Since P5R is coming to PC now, I'd like to see someone mod in a fight against the real Ialdabaoth. Try to make it more SMT like in terms of boss patterns too.

@@jackour8167 No, he's not a demon, he's a shadow collective. Responds to human desires the same way as Erebus and Izanami. Focuses on phenomenon associated with the Collective Unconscious. If he was the real one, he'd be more akin to Ialdabaoth from SMT Nine, or at the very least Demiurge in Devil Summoner.

Infact, I'd argue Yaldabaoth from P5 is superior because he actually has a character unlike the garbage we get in other games.
