how to login?even with the correct credentials I stay on the login page.
You can log in with the credentials: "admin" (username), "password" (password).

HI I added some entries and it saves it in the database but my problem is when i tried the manage students and edit those entries does not show it is blank did i miss something? thank you very much for your help.

If thsi is not working on login screen or anyother issue simply use the server with php 5 and everything will be fine
Not working after setting URL it show login screen after putting username & password it show 404 error

The system is not loading. I'm able to access the login screen from localhost, but when I click on submit, nothing is happening... localhost:9080sms throws error, unable to connect.... I think you omitted an important step here. Thank you very much for the system

Yes. You have to change your port in applications -> config -> config.php. Search $config['base_url'] = 'localhost:9080/sms/index.php/'; and put your port number after localhost.
