    Dear host,
    I appreciate your work. There is a small concern though. In the video when you are talking about how hot the nozzle gets you are talking about the temperature, not heat. Heat (unit joules) and temperature (unit degree centigrade ) are two different measurements.
    This is a common misconception. Another example is many people still thinks that the unit of the weight is kilograms. They lack the basic understanding of what is mass and what is weight or in this case, what is heat and what is temperature.
    My intention is that a good educational video channel such as LMES should be free from such misconceptions. I think your channel with a subscriber strength of 8.5 Lakhs has responsibility for this.
    Consider this comment as a constructive note.
    கற்க கசடற..!

      @Navin.t.r.g Před 5 lety +1

      I dont get you... They talk about why doesn't the nozzle melt... Melting is basically based on the material's melting point which is measured in temperature having a unit of celsius... From where heart came into...i mean yeah heat has a role in it...but the subject of concern is why doesnt the nozzle melt..

    • @ELAMPARITHYMOORTHY
      @ELAMPARITHYMOORTHY Před 5 lety +8

      Navin,
      You are saying you didn't understand my comment, but you haven't asked any question. What exactly you did not get?
      Let me put in different words.. In the video when the host said " ..rocket lam lift aagum pothu 3200 degree ku mela heat produce aagum..." My objection was 3200 degree is not heat. It's temperature. He continued to use the word 'heat' to denote temperature in multiple occasions. "...ivlo heat la kuda nozzle melt aagathu.." etc.. So I thought maybe the host is misconceived.

    1. As u said the heat will not be that much high in the nozzle. Bcoz the nozzle will evacuate the fuel at the same time nozzle reduces its temperature and when it goes in one place to another within air boundary it automatically reduces its temperature as u previously explained in cooling of two wheeler engine.
    2. Above the air boundary there is no medium to transfer nozzle end heat to nozzle.
    3.if u want to check whether I said right or wrong u just see the gas torch. It will not melt though it is in bronze but it can melt the metal. Whereas if u go to the metal very close,then the heat will reflect on the nozzle and it will try to melt the nozzle.

      @Vijai Kumar They use Cryogenic fuel to burn in space. Liq. H2 as fuel and Liq. O2 as an oxidizer. They're used in the upper stages of any rocket engines. Solid propellant and liquid propellants are quite commonly used during lift-off and stage separations.

      2nd law of thermodynamics ,
      -232°C already oru metal mela flow aaitu irukum bodhu heat increase aaga late aagum and 3200°C odane varadhu slow ah dhan achieve aagum ,
      Eg: neenga milk boil pannumbodhu unga burner la fire vandhadhum unga boiler heat aavadhu konjo time aanadhum dhan aagum , adhuve unga milk cold ah irundha (5°C-10°C) unga boiler heat aaga romba Neram aagum ,
      So avanga 3200°C ah subtract panala , 3200°C reach panra time ah increase panraanga ,3200°C ah nozzles reach panradhukulla adhu stratosphere ah thandidum andha region la temperature (-3°C to -90°C) irukum so heating process delay aagum😊
