- There's a lot going on here today... Doug is pulling in his Nissan 300 ZX to get it ready for paint while Nathan keeps wiring up the 1936 Hudson. Plus we have our friend Rooster in the house for the next couple weeks so Bad Chad is going to get him to detail the 352 engine that came with the 1958 Thunderbird when we bought it. We have someone interested in buying it so we want to freshen it up and give it some fresh paint. Team Hiltz, & Rooster are in the house! Chad you have a house full now, maybe this would be a good time to try to get the 8' bender off of the trailer while you have a shop full of people! Nate it looks like you are making decent progress on wiring the Terraplane! Doug that is really cool that you are going to get paint on your 300Z it will look really nice with a paint job! Rooster it is awesome that you made it out to the shop you must be excited to be there! Jolene excellent camera & video work as always. You really have your work cut out with 4 people to try & video during the hour now but, I have no doubt that you can manage it! Fina was out making the rounds doing her work until she decided to come in and take a break!

I worked at a Commercial Truck/ Trailer Shop, in the 60's and 70's. We had a large 8 foot Break, bigger than the one Bad Chad bought. It had 6 inch steel wheels,so with help you could roll it out of the way.
Putting that motor on the trailer was a shit show l. Holly crap. I always hate moving motors l. Not fun at all. Glad you all got it moved without getting hurt. Thank you for what you do. Love this channel

I agree to a point but have you driven a forklift on loose gravel ? It can be done but it can be a pain the derriere, lol.
That forklift would have no problem driving on those rocks. It has the big tires on it. The small tires are horrible! I drove the samething in a scrapyard I used to manage. All dirt yard never had a problem.
Used to plow snow with it sometimes. Not so good on ice.
Chad, you could use your car hoist to get that big brake off your trailer. Just use a few boards for the span

Use the lift to pick up the brake.
Great Idea !!!! back the trailer under the the hoist and use the heavy duty straps to lift the metal break and drive the trailer out from under it . Then weld on some heavy duty 500 lb rated caster wheels with about a 6 inch wheel so it can be rolled around the shop easily. To avoid all the strain of trying to lift it or move it.
Worth trying.

70,000 views per day he can afford a dozen of them, stop sending him stuff he doesn’t use, like a cordless grinder, and $6k worth of welding equipment donated by Lincoln, only thing he used was a welding jacket and helmet, total slap in the face to Lincoln, did he sell the welder and plasma cutter I haven’t seen a video on them, and the full air ride kit donated to the Bugatti Chad said “we’ll find something to use it for” indicating not the Bugatti as he already finished the suspension.
This engine stand stuff is funny as hell. Took me 5 minutes or less to figure it out when I was like 18
I’d sand blast that brake before unloading it. Then give it a nice coat of paint and oil the hinges. That may have been one of the best purchases Chad has made. He should jump on that towmotor too. Good to see Rooster57 in the house.👍👍🇨🇦

You should've bought that old tow motor that's what you should've done. Just a couple bolts holding that engine up! awe that's nothing kind of expect it. Chad, The reason your hoist is so bloody slow is because you need to change the fluids and filter then it will work much faster for ya.
With Chad's guidance, Doug should paint it. He will learn a lot and have the confidence and satisfaction of having done it himself. Hope that's the plan.

Metal work looks awesome on the Hot Wheels car Chad. I've been working in this trade for over 40 years now and thats how you get it done. There's no exact science to chopping and customizing a car. A lot of cutting and fitting and cutting and fitting. Screw all you haters out there that never worked a day in a Body Shop.

You may want to add wheels while it is on the hoist or us wheel trollies to move it.

Put a bar between the lift pads on the car lift as a beam and you can lift what ever you like off your trailer.

Noticed when you flipped up the hood the brace going from side to side was off ,did it help the fenders settle, and align better.

Hey Chaddy, you should really consider in investing on equipment required to run a functional shop and lower risk of an accident occurring such as a forklift and repairing your hoist. Remember the more people in the shop the higher the risk. Would hate to see you get sued for an injury.

Back up your trailer n lift one side with engine hoist n slide back n put on ground n than put hoist in front n lift n pull trailer forward

Chad use one of your hoist arms to lift it off The motor that is off the trailer.Wrap a chain around the hoist arm and pick it off there and pull the car out
