- This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the original Plymouth Rapid Transit System Caravan show cars, which has been hidden away for over 50 years.
The car, with an odometer reading of 967 miles, remains unrestored and retains its custom metalwork and lacquer paint from the late 1970s. It bears the serial number 100005 and was designed by Harry Bradley, known for his work on the Hot Wheels toy line.
The car was built by Chuck Miller, a recipient of the prestigious Ridler award in 1968. It was authorized and funded by Plymouth for the Rapid Transit System Caravan, which toured between 1970 and 1971.
The vehicle includes its original dash VIN, a fender tag indicating a 440-6 barrel automatic transmission, chrome caster-style wheelie bars, and the original show sign from the Rapid Transit System Caravan.

I'm just happy that someone had the foresight to stash this car away! I remember these vehicles when I was a teenager! It's like the guy that bought the original Bullitt Mustang & put it away! Just phenomenal history that can't be replicated or replaced!!

Mopar, was a major part of my youth growing up with all those hot rod posters cars on my wall in my room....and now as an adult old Mopar is still a major draw for me when I see cars.

He always wanted to donate it to an automotive museum. He was forced to sell his home and liquidate all his assets. Knowing this he had a neighbor contact Chuck Miller to store the car and keep it safe. What bothers me about the whole thing is all those people were salivating over Anthony’s car while he was having medical issues. He is doing better now and getting his strength back now all of the things he worked so hard for are sold off and no longer his. It’s so sad! I have known Anthony for over 20 years and he is the most interesting person I have ever met. He is the real deal and his love for cars goes deep! He is a very generous person and loved to give back to young people that were interested in cars. Over the years he has donated many cars and his time to high school automotive programs in Macomb county and the Detroit area. Keep a look out for more of his interesting stories and rare cars he had over the years.
