7:50 Totally relate to this. Mom said "Cleanliness next to holiness." Living intentionally righteous alines our intentions with divine. I do the same thing in hotels. I try to make the person's day light as possible because of being empathetic to those cleaning after me. I do the same in stores. If I grab something I don't buy, I put it back where I got it instead of being lazy and leaving it anywhere.

I had no idea this guy was as good as he was. I grew up in the 80’s and had heard the name and being a two sport guy but I had no idea he was one of the greatest football players ever.

That was the coolest Deion interview I have ever seen...was suprised to know....Deion dont drink or smoke and don't party like his earlier image suggested. It must have been the MONEY! AND for the record...Deion is the most Gifted corner EVER in the NFL...he is right....when he played it looked like EVERYBODY was standing still.
I really enjoyed this. So many great takeaways. I think my favorite was, paraphrasing, "I balled because I was conditioned to ball, whether someone was supporting me or not." This is huge for me. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to both Deion and Tony!

Great podcast !! I love how tony was trying to get the most out of Deion's mindset and approach to the game as opposed to talking about old highlights and shit as most interviewers ask this man smh but i really want to emphasize the point Deion was making about compartmentalizing things ! and the fact that when he played he only every played for himself cause he had to.... that was a major key because when that is the case you'll always have a source of motivation to either prove you belong or get better at your craft.

Great interview. I remember the glitz and glamour of The Dallas Cowboys in the 70s and 80s. Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson, to be exact. I believe Deion "Prime Time" Sanders is a similar, but better accomplished man.
I have the same sleep patterns. Wake up at 5:30 get to work by 7. Home from work by 4 in the bed by 6. Sleep till 11 pm stay up till 2- or 2:30 and do it all over again.
How do you get things accomplished like that?

I've always loved Deion& it has nothing to do with his athletic abilities.. I've always admired him& i hope God bless me with the opportunity to meet him 1day..i remember when i was in 7th grade back in the mid 90's our house caught on fire& i remember we got blessed with money from the school& others..& around that time the black& white with the gold nike check Deion's came out& i got them.. i was 1 of the 1st ones to have them at the school my confidence was extremely high going to school that day.. That brighten up my spirit in such a bad time.. I have nothing but love& respect for him& i love that he's a Christian& i can relate to him so much
