Agitation , sleepy headache and over tired are normal after effects after a seizure. Takes a lot out of a grown man to have them. I can imagine what it does to a little monkey.

If they feed these "pets" too much, the viewers are not pleased with what they see....if they don't feed them from two to two hours, the bleeding hearts step up and ask for more food for the baby monkey...pffff, I think they are trying to please everybody....and don't know how....anymore !

If you don't know when, how or why to give CPR, you should check with a vet, go to human cpr class. You can damage vital structures in the animal by not knowing how hard to press on the chest. If they're looking at you, and breathing normally, he's not dead, there's no reason to do cpr
Again, he’s having seizures. It’s either silent seizures, gran mal seizures or he could be epileptic. A vet is needed. Seriously! Alex can and will die if not on the proper medications. He needs to see a vet! My mom has seizures and has since I was 4 along with one of her dogs. The meds and doctors visits are not cheap but if you care about this monkey a vet is what’s needed. ASAP! After he has the seizure he will be tired. So shaking and pulling and pressing on his chest isn’t necessary. There’s certain earning signs that will be noticeable before he goes into one. He may get real sleepy. He may sit real still. Watch Alex’s pupils. While he is having the seizure just hold him like a baby close to you supporting his little head. There is a possibility he can swallow his tongue. Or if he’s got food in his mouth he could get chocked. So watch for that as well. He needs a vet ASAP!! No joke.

There are few trained vets in Cambodia. Most animal clinics are just unlicensed with no formal training. The university there only recently started a vet school and the first graduation will be next year. Even then they will only be trained for treatment of domestic live stock not monkeys.
@Connie B. I completely agree with you on these ppl causing this I personally think from drug but I have a best friend with seizures and yes you can come out of one and go right back into these many times as she has had up to 7 in like a 20min process these have went on for like 30years with her

She chewed on food as soon as she woke up enough , it’s sitting in mouth or throat , I saw you check once but u left big chunk in there . Let her find her own position. When she wakes up , she is still trying to clear the food out of her airway , and you pushing her into position she can’t do it as well . She was comfortable and recovering and you forced her up and twisted her around she knows what her body needs when awake .

I am a veterinary technician so I know a little bit more then most people when it comes to animals. I've worked with many primates.
