She was made a famous french WW1 movie titled A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT, a big budget film. So many French talents were discovered from the film, including the Oscar winner Marion C
She should teach a master class in Hollywood about how to be famous and stay grounded at the same time.
Absolutely love all of her films.
In order for that to really happen, you’d have to get rid of all the sex offenders and pedophiles and the people willing to give under age people booze and drugs. The kids also need to have parents that care about them. These things can’t be taught, they just need to be done.

Her performance in Silence of the lambs is just as strong as Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins creates such a dominant character yet Jodie foster stands up to that challenge and makes Clarice just as dominant
There is a new series out on streaming called "Clarice." The lead actress works hard to be true to the character laid down by Ms. Foster but it will always be noticeably shy of the real thing.

I met her at the Los Angeles History Museum across from USC. She was very nice but, didn’t want to be bothered because she was with her significant other and her kids. It was all good. Big fan!!

Agree, as a result of staying more natural and doing minimal changes to her look, always in beautiful fitted clothes and great hair cuts, she actually looks more youthful than those who get over worked. Nothing worse than seeing young girls pumped faces and overly gaudy lips and expressionless dead eyes- adds 10 years.

Even at just 15 or so, when I saw the movie Flightplan, having not much knowledge about good acting, I recognised Jodie for what she is from that movie alone. Im 37 now but way back when the movie Contact came out and I saw it was totally crushing but in a none creeper way. I loved her acting like in Silence of the lambs. Hotel Artemis was a fun one also.
