The tremble in Blade’s voice as he speaks in the Korean dub is so good. He really is barely holding in the mara and his bloodlust.
Korean Blade is 10/10... idk Korean dub overall just keeps winning imo. Best Seele, best Sampo, best Tingyun, best Blade... the KR dub is just massively loaded.

Like when Caelus uses his Preservation ult it sounds like he's yelling "FireMC" idk if that's coincidence but it hilarious. And ye I agree they sound great in the dub.
KR dub is so underrated overall, as someone who understands the language I just love the fun little nuances and fluorishes in the dialogue. Also KR VA industry has so many greats ❤

I think the English voice actor said that they didn’t show him the animation before doing the recording session so it made sense why I felt this part was off, but still thought the vocal delivery was nice. A shame voice and animation didn’t happen to match.

Those voice actors are doing their best with very VERY limited visuals. I wish the models were more expressive.

Tbh, yeah. Compared to a lot of other scenes in hsr, I found the expressions on the models for this scene to be oddly lacking. Even with Jing Yuan too. I made a comment in the survey cuz it's a bit of a shame since this is such a pivotal scene.

Surprisingly i found Chinese as best this time, because English and Japanese had laughter laughter but Chinese had "finally you came" laughter and also it suited very well in the scene as well

KR is my favorite. It’s like someone mentioned, you can hear a slight tremble in his voice
All the voice actors did a great job. I prefer EN since not only do I speak it and can understand things better, I just really like the depth and gravel that his voice has. He sounds sinister and I really enjoy that for his character. Excited to hear more from him.
Also fun fact: Blade's EN VA is also Lyney from Genshin. That range is insane.

every language is superb but something about the Korean version that just hits different for me. there is more impact in his voice, same with blade's trailer too and him pulling dan hengs' spear out of his chest... the emotions seem genuine, really spot on.
There is a lot of more anguish/seething rage bubbling in the KR VA of Blade. Which I like.

The anger in the Korean version is what MADE me pull! It is so good! The way he said "you're here" and when he says "you"... he's so mad. I love it.

The mouths and the AI make it so real while they all talk in their language- thats also awesome

英語版は群を抜いて情熱的で
日本語版は復讐心にまみれてるし、『狂ってる』感が全面的に出てる気がする
本国版は皮肉げで静か
韓国語版も皮肉げだけど本国版とはまた違った感じ
笑い方とか表現の仕方でキャラへの印象やイメージが180度変わるんだなと改めて感じた
個人的にどの刃さんもいいなと思う
だが私は日本版で慣れてしまったから絞れと言われたら日本版と本国版かな
ENとJPは、どっちも最初は狂ってるけど段々落ち着いてきてる でも落ち着いてるのは声色だけで中は復讐心みたいな 表現力としては流石だなと感じた あくまでファンとしての客観的な意見でしかないし、えらそうなこと言えないけど
本国版はただ私が中国語の発音とかが好きってのもあるけど
静かに淡々と狂ってる感じが刺さった
んでもって改めて感動したのが、どの言語だろうと基本口パクがあっていること 私の見間違いでなければ、言語ごとに口パクがあうように作られてる 多分これはほよばゲームの中では崩スタが初めてじゃないのかと思うから感動
それのおかげで違和感を感じないからよりストーリーに没頭できる

I think it's cause I'm chinese and understand the lines better is what made me so attracted to the cn voiceover (honestly I don't think people like the cn voice overs much cause I mostly see english, japanese, and korean being used more)
It makes me sad that people don't appreciate cn voices as much :( I play Genshin and Star Rail with cn voiceover since the beginning and it makes me want to learn mandarin bc of how good it is

I love his daman's eng voice but this scene felt kind off character... CN is def the best and feels the most lore-accurate (duh i wonder why lol). JP Blade sounds too angry and KR Blade sounds kind of a psycho (?) They're all great tho, it's just that it feels like each language chose a different personality for Blade

@@Marluxia950 From what it seems like it's because the company didn't show him the animation. Just because the voice doesn't match the animation doesn't mean the actor didn't do a good job with the voice. I'm sure everyone will improve as they go.

EN totally for Blade in my opinion. JP lacks that oomph and maybe I've just gotten used to similar characters in anime so it's nothing special.

EN dub did a very good job of portraying a wrathful and manic character, which is pretty fitting for Blade. 9/10
JP dub was actually quite disappointing. The emotions felt a bit theatrical, rather than real. 6/10
CN dub was surprisingly good. Blade's wrath is clearly expressed, and the breathiness of his voice sounds like he is constantly trying to
calm his breath and anger. Still, it's lacking some of the other elements of madness, like mania, insanity, and chaos. 8/10
KR dub was the most impressive, and most complete portrayal of a character who has fallen into madness.
The inflections in his voice are wild, as if he can't control the tone of his voice. And because of this, the emotions
being expressed are in constant motion. He starts with calm anger, then manic excitement, then derision, then back to anger within his first 3 lines.
After Dan Heng's lines, he responds with incredulous laughter, a hint of righteous anger, and a cry of unfairness in his next line.
In the final line, he comes back to anger and vengeance.
Nothing characterizes the madness of a long-lived being better than the chaos we hear in this dub. 10/10
The JP Blade was villainous
The CN Blade was a man barely containing his rage
The EN Blade was a vengeful man who was starting to lose his mind in bitter wrath
The KR Blade was man, thoroughly broken by the vicissitudes of life, with an anger so great that he has already fallen into madness

According to Blade's VA, no one showed this clip to him before voicing, so he voiced the dialogue based on how he thought the animation would play out. The actor did a good job voicing Blade and actually sounds more maniacal and full of revenge.
