I had no clue kosher salami existed thank you so much! Salami was a snack I ate as a child (didn’t grow up Jewish ). But since coming to the faith and eating biblically clean /kosher.. I’ve missed having a snack like that. I just found some at my local Costco! can’t wait to eat it!
I go to Costco occasionally with my daughters, they have memberships and I go with them when I am in the mood and I want a $5 rotisserie chicken. I know how hard it is NOT to impulse buy because everything looks so good for various reasons. I think you did a great job keeping your items down to what you know you need and will use and did not go crazy (I am guilty of that in the past). So this was a Great Costco haul. 👍👍👍

I actually only go to Costco for the fresh produce. We can go through peppers and blueberries and strawberries in like 3 days and it's mainly just me and my 2 year old eating them. And the carrots last so long and always go through them in a week.
Careful with the guacamole, it expires very fast compared to how many I'd imagine most people eat within the expiration timeframe. We do better with the trader Joe's amount.
Great haul. For the price and quantity it was great. I love freezing the muffins and they taste great thawed. 😊

I think you did great 👍💖 remember money doesn't go very far. How are the diaper prices or are you using cloth. He sure is growing love those chubby cheeks. I just love how you are so in tuned with the Jewish Faith & how you gather your family around & take the lead I'm sure that's one of the reasons your husband chose you because your so rich in tradition!!! I don’t know when I started but I wash some zip lock bags to reuse for storage. Makes me feel a bit better about using them for storage.
The reno pasta is very good I get it all the time.

The spinach frittatas are so good! My local Costco does not have the hot dogs or salami (which is surprising, as we have a large kosher selection-LI, NY).

Costco here in the UK are so rubbish for Kosher food, they have Gilbert’s hot dogs. Those prices seem to be extremely expensive, especially the chicken.

Marion, how do you like Hebrew National hot dogs? I had been buying Oscar Meyer 100% beef hot dogs for years, but about a year ago I noticed a change in the texture of those hot dogs. Same thing when I tried their 100% Angus beef hot dogs. Very unappetizing. So I need a new brand of hot dogs to try. Thanks.
It's really interesting the different food in our costco in the UK, we have one just up the road from where we live and there doesn't appear to be any kosher food 🍲🤔 xx

Aaaahhhhhhh!!! I wish we had the Jewish National hot dogs in Canadian Costo stores. My hubby runs a small Korean Corndog shop and while we are able to find certain halal hot dogs (only chicken), we've had no luck finding kosher ones. Sigh. You can really get great products at Costco. Not sure about prices (as I don't live in the States), but it seems that the stuff you purchased was a great buy. it's always good to have healthy snacks for when the kids need, and it seems you will have this food for a while. It will last a while. Great Kosher products. Many Blessings from Israel!

Wish my Costco sold kosher chicken and meats. I live in New Hampshire and kosher meats are very scarce, we have to drive into Boston to find a kosher grocery.
Do you know if italiano tiramisu is kosher? It says gelatin, but I'm trying to see if it's pork or beef
Great haul, but I'm a single person with just my cat and I to feed, so I don't think I spent $200 in one shopping haul, but sure I have in oh ill buy this, I'll order this..so sure it all adds up to more then 200...my cat gets the healthiest food I buy for sure lol

I’ve never shopped at Costco. I have supermarkets that are more competitive price and quality wise.
I can’t believe how expensive food is in the states compared to the U.K.
The Costco's in Calgary, AB, Canada don't carry Challah, or Franks.... boooooo. Taking a break from Costco happens - one can only keep paying large quantities for so long - that and the crowds are overwhelming at times.
Does Costco have a kosher section or do you have to know or take time to read what you are buying? I'll bet it's just spread amidst everything all over the store, so you are lured into getting more stuff. One would think they would have particular ethnic or religious or special holiday areas to make it easier for shoppers with lots of responsibilities and little time. It is a constant struggle to not buy more than you need, yet be sure to have enough for unexpected guests. And we want to buy in as much bulk as our storage spaces can handle, yet not have things in packaging that is cumbersome for members of the family to be able to handle it independently, whether quite young or old, and we need convenience without excess packaging. Let us know if you find the membership pays for itself. Is this basically for a week?
Kosher meat is so expensive.
Way too much processed food that is so bad for adults and children. That's a big salt sugar and preservates hit .
