Good video! Your truck was sitting on the frame/axles with all four wheels spinning, and you let air out of all four tires, and THEN your truck pulled its way out of the dry sand by turning the front tires back and forth. Wow, that's good to know.
I knew to let air out of tires before going on soft dry sand, however, I didn't know you could let the air out AFTER the truck is stuck and still get out.
it's counter intuitive because you'd think you're just lowering the frame onto the sand even more.. in reality you are widening the tire to let the shoulders grip the sides of the holes but also your contact patch gets twice as long gripping more sand on the "ramp" out of the hole. letting air out when i was high centered on snow i was thinking "what am i doing?" but same result. great video.

He's pretty smart, even has his transmission temperature gauge up on the display at 0:56 so he doesn't roast it lol. 103 is pretty good for spinning the tires like that.

The reason he opens the hood to keep the truck cool is because the truck is framed out and with the hood closed there is nowhere for the air that gets pulled through the radiator to escape so it loses airflow. The solution is you open the hood and that allows some of the heat to radiate out and it also allows the air to flow through the radiator and out the hood opening.

This is great. A friend got her VW Tiguan well and truly stuck in Dubai. Digging, revving engine, etc etc. Then the friendly Dubai Police came by, shrugged, lowered tire pressure a bit and got in. I watched as he moved the wheel while going backwards and forwards a little, in a couple of minutes he drove the car out. No sweat!
Great job. Brief and to the point with step by step instructions and it works. No Toyota crawl control needed.

Hey great video. People need to keep in mind it's better to air down in the first place though. Airing down makes the ride offroad alot better while improving traction and flotation.

It appears that they have totally different sand in UAE or Saudi Arabia or Qatar then we have here in the states. Just kidding , good job cause that truck was buried to the frame it looked like.
Sand over there is like baby powder. Very easy to get stuck if your tires are not wide enough.
