This is SO GOOD! I always loved wario land 4, but hated how the music was GBA compressed. I much preferred the gameboy color sounding music of the other wario games. THIS IS AN AMAZING DISCOVERY!

This is perfect.
I am unsure about this uncompressed soundtrack... On one side it's quite nice to hear some high quality but somehow the noise of the old soundchip and limitations just kinda made the song more... lively. This just kinda seems empty to me. Same goes for the crescent moon village and the title theme... Still amazing work tho.
I know, right? The composer of this game indeed had the GBA limitations in mind when making this soundtrack. Take those away and you have a seemingly empty, but at least higher quality version of this.
Much more pleasant to listen on headphones though. Love the original sound but the 16 bit kind of hurts my ears to be honest, this is a fantastic alternative and seems like it took a lot of work so props.
I agree, the notes are on key, but flat and kinda dead

It feels like something is missing, i dont know why but the main version sounds more filled, im talking mostly about the 0:40 part, the original just hits differently somehow.

I have the strangest memory of this song, I was in the upstairs workout section of our school gym in my highschool finale. I brought my DS because of the time, and because everyone knew it was easy, and mostly just some time to chill out before the next big test. Plenty of girls didn't get to exempt, but two or three guys other than myself didn't either. I was playing Wario Land 4 in the upstairs area, and I was hanging around with a woman that had her eyes on me for a little while. This was an error on her part since I don't feel love, but it was a fine time. She needed help with something and I jokingly said no, but still closed my DS, and the gym teacher specifically told me to help her out. It wasn't anything major, but it was surely odd. The level I was playing at the time was this one.
