- Welcome to another trip report!
On April 22, I flew from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to Albuquerque's International Sunport. Delta evidently doesn't serve meals on many of their first class flights, even those that are 3 hours like this one.
I hope you enjoy the trip report!

I flew through Atlanta two weeks ago, and saw Delta’s new a330-900 in the hangar. What a beautiful plane!
Love your trip reports. Sitting back with some coffee and enjoying another great video. Love the smooth jazz selections embedded in the video. Keep them coming QFS.
1:43 that guy just staring at the camera lmfao
Nice video! I grew up and live in suburban Atlanta and I always enjoy videos originating or ending in ATL...the "FLY DELTA JETS" sign has been around since the 60's...
Completely agree, it's disgusting that you're flying first class and they offer chips - might as well say the sunset should be good enough for sustenance. The rating for food/food quality should be either 0 or 1 as there isn't any.
I can say for a fact, that the snack basket isnt enough. I took a First Class flight from LAX to SEA and I had a full dinner on that flight, which is about 2 hours.
breakfast/lunch for flights departing between 5 AM to 1:30 PM and Dinner for flights departing between 4 PM to 8 PM
@@vibesix that could be it.
Enjoyable video...I live in suburban Atlanta...
Yes, that is an OBOE. The first instrument you hear when a symphony orchestra tunes up at the start of a concert. Amazed that guy could get away with practicing in an airport before someone became bothered or offended.
He was in a sort of quiet center at the airport.
I flown on a Delta Boeing 737-900ER N844DN from Las Vegas to Detroit as DL2698 on 3/5/19. Nice smooth flight!!!!!
this Q re-view is presented by Coke with ice and Biscoff cookies. lots of planes to see during taxi and a beautiful sunset round out this very good report. well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra and thanks for sharing!!
Thanks! Biscoff and coke is an underrated snack!
@@QFSAviation you might make it famous!!
Nice video mate !! By the way I just noticed something about the registration :
YOU flew N863DN
I flew N863DA
With a common airport : Atlanta
How funny it is ;)
Great video, onec again !!
I realize it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released series online ?
@Romeo Zain try flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Pablo Alfred Definitely, I have been watching on Flixzone for years myself :)
@Pablo Alfred Thank you, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) Appreciate it !!
@Romeo Zain glad I could help =)
Gotta love a nice complimentary water bot.
I love watching the precipitation being sucked into a thrust-reversing engine. You can feel the power!
hi qman. i think that instrument is an oboe but i'm not 100%. anyway, great report, beautiful scenery. but FC doesn't have TJ? haha thanks for sharing your travels, be safe my friend.
I do not know why a meal was not served. When I flew Delta First Class from Orlando (MCO) to Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) a full hot dinner was severed for us. And multiple drinks services.
No point paying for first class tbh 😂😂
He left after 8pm
Another great video kiddo, I agree they could have provided a sandwich at least, save a buck wherever!! Good Job 5*
And given the time of the flight, I am not surprised there was not a meal...
Good thing u ate at McD. It was a beautiful sunset you captured.
Another great video, Quintin! Your shots out the window are always superb....you have a good eye. Editing and music are also terrific. Delta get demerits for no dinner on a 3-hour flight in first class. I wonder if there was a problem with catering? And you know, one day you're going to raise the toilet lid with your foot and get a surprise. 😄
dcjimr1 he left at 8:14 pm. They don’t have dinner service after 8pm
@@moviemogul83 that's uncivilized! 🙂
dcjimr1 Definitely agree. Caveat of Domestic FC sadly
13:42 I believe that's the Oboe 🤔
Delta Airlines destination leave from Atlanta Georgia to Albuquerque New Mexico Boeing 727-200 Super Fan jet from the early 90s
Thanks for your new Trip Report. I like it. Greetings from Germany.
Great camera work and editing! How are the likes of Delta who are supposed to be a full-fair carrier going to compete with LCCs if they don't even serve a meal? I think airlines like JetBlue are going to eat their lunch for them (pardon the pun).
the flight's only 3 hours lol
It may depend on the time of your flight. For instance, I flew Alaska first class from LAX to PDX last week. The flight, which was over 2 hours, was after 8pm and they only served snacks. On the way back though, the flight was around 7pm and they served a meal. Most airlines seem to do that although I agree there should be some sort of meal regardless. I remember I flew United Economy Plus from EWR to LAX a few years ago. The flight was after 9pm and I still got a meal...in Economy.
NM rail runner sounds cool.
The instrument the guy was playing is called and oboe but if you are not good with your technique with oboe you might as well not play but that guy i could tell was good!
It has to do with the time of your flight. Meals are served in domestic First Class during certain hours and when you’re booking your flight on Delta’s website or app when you select the flight time and click “View Details”, then “Meal Service” it will state the type of meal offered such as Premium Snack(which you received), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
should of got a cuppa with your biscoff mate 👌🏻
One world flyer spotted
Nice video. Great score too!👍👍
I flew from ABQ to ATL on the 739. It was a great experience from economy. I have a trip Report on it
739?????
That instrument is an oboe. I’m in band and that’s exactly what it sounds like.
I love the part where you said "When I was a kid " LOL But hey I love trains also and think it would be cool.
Thanks QFS !
Awesome Trip Report! Also that’s an Oboe part of the woodwind family!
I agree, it would have definitely been better if Delta served a meal for a flight this length!
The snack box was pretty good.
I love the music...Thank you and fly safe...
yes put that on your bucket list Q.............thanks for the ride sir :)
Great video, I went to Albuquerque three years ago
They give coach pax in Asia full meals in economy for flights which are an hour, but only snacks on 3 hour delta flights in first
clean n nice view
9:54 I approve of you watching the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Go Avalanche 😔
@@QFSAviation my team doesn't get that privilege. Rip EDM Oilers
Welp st Louis won it
@@barbt.o.9804 indeed
@@dalek1111 yep
Q ... you certainly were “generous” with your 7/10 rating for food. If it were me, it would be 3/10. Good thing you fortified yourself with Mickey D’S before departure 👍🏻
Great video. Flying Delta from DTW to CUN on Tuesday
If you do decide to come back to Albuquerque and so your review of the Rail Runner, I'd be happy to show you around here as I live in Albuquerque.
I’ll take you up on that! I’m in ABQ quite a lot too
Great video, love the Jazz music.
Yes
He was playing an Oboe.
Another great review. My wife and I will be flying this product from SFO to MSP. For our connection onwards to AMS. BTW, that instrument looks to be an Oboe. I was in the band for three years during middle school.
On a 60 minute Sydney Melbourne business class flight you’ll get a three course meal plus top grade lounge access prior to with full meal services there also. US services are poor by comparison but at least you decent seats unlike those 3 seat middle free euro offerings.
Delta’s TOC is massive in ATL
He left at 8:14pm. No dinner service after 8pm.
The reason you did not get served a meal I am pretty sure is because your flight departed after 8pm.
No it's because it's only a 3 hour flight lol
Nick Brock actually if you go on their website youll see what Im talking about...I have also seen videos of someone getting a meal on a 2 hr flight on this airline.
@@usair97 oh right i forgot that you could buy meals lol
737-900er nice aircraft
Most legacy airlines in the US will NOT serve a meal if the depstture time is past the dinner hour which 8:14 pm most definitely was.
8:58 the firat class lavatory in the delta'737-900 is so tiny.
yes I agree....european flights do offer that
Don't know if you're a railfan but yes,I encourage you to do a vid on the NM Rail Runner--until recently , I believe there was a train that ran between ABQ and Santa Fe but don't know the status of it---wasn't thrilled about that male FA as you deplaned--didn't like his body language--leaning on a wall, hands in his pockets, didn't sound enthused as he said "Bye,have a good night"--for the fare you're paying for FC,yes,a meal, cold or hot should be served--good thing you got fed from Micky D's before leaving but you lucked out on obtaining that snack box--Although my parents live in Tucson, its always unique to see rain in a desert environment--my expectation of ABQ would be clear skies, sun and dry heat--what did you do in ABQ?
Awsome vid broski
Thanks homie
Love the view at 4:24
was this flight after 8PM? that might explain the no meal service.
smflyer town yeah, just saw the departure board, 8:14pm
Twilight flights are the best
Looking nice...
Do a trip report on the NM Rail Runner
cool to see my city on your channel 🌞 hope you liked abq
I'm getting a meal on a 2.5h flight from MCO->DTW. What time was your flight? I believe they do have time requriements for them.
Also, it's an oboe from the sound of it.
It's extremely difficult to play, because of its double reed.
Delta cabins look way better than AA United jetblue Alaska
Thank You for new trip report . I never been at ABQ . Sucks , it was night arrival.
Neah , don't do trains report . We love you because you do great flight reports . I know one blogger - he doing reports of everything moving around - it is full size sucks...lol
You should have eaten at Chick-Fil- or The Varsity!
Ginger Hammond i agree i was just there last week
Chickfila is McDonald's biggest competition now 3rd largest fast food chain
You seem to almost always do night flights whether is first or economy. Is there a reason for this?
That’s has to be an Oboe instrument
That's an oboe playing in the NM waiting area. Yes, DO do the NM Rail Runner. Flying first class on a "short" 1100 mile Delta flight between two internal cities seems like a waste of $$ if one doesn't get a hot meal and a couple of drinks. Of course, you're too young to drink alcohol, but I bet free drinks are the ONLY advantage to first class on that flight.
That was not orange juice.
Nice video. Do you know when you will be in Denver next?
Nice
Wow that’s a disappointment on delta for first class meal as a banana and chips. Also at the end that’s a oboe
bummer....no food :(
still think the MD80 is the best.....last of the JT8Ds
Did they require you to pay for the snack box?
i was in the atlanta airport on tuesday were u in concourse c at all and did u take the plane train
How are you able to afford all these flights anyway?
I am having a flight tomorrow to sanjuan from Spirit airlines
I live here in Albuquerque
Why Walter White and Pinkman did not meet?
Hello ! Hope you diden't had to pay for the flight fuel box !? The musical instrument is an aubois in french, not really sure in english ''oboe'' ! Thanks for sharing...
I saw jet Airways on lcd @0:28. I thought they aren't flying any more. Can anyone tell me why their logo is appearing on the lcd screen..
Nikhil Sharma, this flight was taken before the collapse of Jet Airways. It was released on June 14.
@@muffyflyboy ohh, thanks!
you must take off of school alot to do these trips?
1:47 🤣
Should of gave food and drink selection below 5 tbh
Do Aeromexico
Wow that is strange how DELTA doesn't serve a meal on this flight. I thought it was 2 hours or more that a meal is served on first class. Also strange to hear that Delta even doesn't serve meals on flights close to three hours to. I wonder if anything happened that caused Delta to do that in the first place.
Delta usually doesn't offer meals on later flights, most people are usually asleep on them, so why bother wake them up and waste all that money on catering when they 9 times out of 10 won't even eat
Flew delta 4 years ago from LAS to JFK and got NOTHING
Who finances all these trips?
9:28 you know you have to pay for those right
#QFSSQUAD
haha... thats so gross......opening up the bucket of surprise.....the loo review :)
Oboe I did it great video
As always great video! Pathetic of Delta not to serve a meal
