I subscribed to you guys about 3 years ago when VCG Construction had barely subscribers at all. I'm not even into construction at all I just thought this channel was funny for some reason so I subbed Idk how I even found out about this channel. Now fast forward 3 years later you guys are at 342k and its insane to see the growth of a small little channel that barely anyone in the world knew about. Wish you guys nothing but the best!!

Years back before Dremel or anyone has an oscillating tool, Fien was out, we used to ( and still do sometimes) call these "Fein tools" and not multi tools or oscillating tools. This was a Fein, like a recip. saw is a Sawzall. We bought in on a payment plan off an infomercial in the 90s.

I remember the infomercials, thought it was a cool new tool, but never bought one until I needed to do come baseboard/door casing work. I bought the Dremel... that was a mistake. Now I'm looking at a replacement, and even though I'm an 18v/20V Max/12V Max Dewalt guy, I'm heavily leaning towards the M12 Fuel tool. The one pro I give the Dremel, is its size. The M12 fuel with the smaller battery seems to be the same size, maybe smaller. I kinda wish Dewalt had a similar oscillating tool in their 12v max line-up, since I'm already in that line.

The first year I owned one I used it only as a sander. I didn't even know it could do cuts. By the way, it is actually a great sander because it gets into corners which isn't something an orbital can do, and if you get the diamond coated sander then it lasts forever.
However, its ability to do weird cuts is why a multi-tool is simply indispensable. Multi-tool has got to be one of the most useful tools invented.

The Milwaukee oscillating tool isn't the only one with magnets. The Ridgid JobMax tool free head also has magnets to hold the blades in place while you clamp them down.

I do believe that's quite true Bosch design is indeed one of the quickest and I know it's catching on because I've been to Lowe's about a day before and I saw something like the Starl lock
system on a Dewalt 4.5 INCH angle grinder

How could you not put the Ridgid JobMax up higher on the list?! I have the 18-volt version which only cost me $80 on sale and even though it's not the Octane one and it's still a beast, I got the tool free change head for it so it's super easy to change blades, also u can clip the attachment on it in 4 different directions. Not to mention it's a multitude of tools in one, I have the Roto-Zip head, the right angle drill head, the right angle 1/4" impact driver head and the Sawzall head for it! If I bought all those tools individually it would cost a fortune and take up a ton of room in my Toolbox! Imagine in addition to buying an oscillating tool that I had to buy a Ridgid Roto-Zip too $119l, a Ridgid right angle drill $139, a Ridgid one handed Sawzall $139 and a right angle impact and I'd have to buy a Milwaukee one for $149 unless I wanted to spend $204 on a makita one. And considering the most expensive attachment for my JobMax was the Sawzall attachment at $50 I think the JobMax is a killer deal and should be way up on the list since it replaces so many tools and saves you hundreds of dollars at the same time! Plus if it ever breaks it's lifetime warranties! Now don't get me wrong I have a lot of Ridgid tools but I have even more Milwaukee tools and will usually buy a Milwaukee tool over a Ridgid one but there's no denying that the JobMax is on hell of a versatile and tough ass tool and I would buy it and the attachment for it any day over buying all the Milwaukee tools that I need to replace it and all the attachments for it!

A heads up. Kobalt brought out a new mower that uses a pair of 24v batteries. It comes with a dual charger and 2 5.0ah batts. And it’s self propelled for $400.

You should update this review. I'd like to hear what you think of the new Skil PwrCore 20. I just purchased Milwaukee M12 Fuel, but for the price of the kit (even after discounts) I'm rethinking of switching it to Skil 20V. Just can't find a good comparison of both.

That's what I said last night they were the original plus they are nice because they gave you like an 8 foot extension cord with the tool the only problem was there a Locking System after a while the top lock would get loose nice to see they went cordless
