- As usual I've been getting a bit of backlash recently. One of these really annoyed me. I also address a recent content take down attempt that failed spectacularly.

I just now unsubbed from them due to some folk in their comments section. I was right about the quote and where it was aimed. I think they should've manned up and allowed you your say. I'm saddened and disappointed in them.

Ghost theory was in the wrong from the start because they were trespassing. If they were right they would've been more than happy to have a rational conversation with the people that disagree with them instead of going on the attack. I unsubscribed from their channel after the whole showdown. I left a comment on one of their videos where their having a rant about never wanting to joke about mental health and how they're sorry if they upset anyone.

The problem with the videos is they make it all about them I realised that early on but carried on watching because it was well produced but I do prefer underproduced more serious material

Hi Beardo I watched that video of Ghost Theory and I was shocked at their disrespectful and inappropriate behaviour and language regarding the reading of their received fan letters, and especially the disrespectful inappropriate comment which was aimed at yourself. I do not condone and was disappointed in the immature disrespectful inappropriate behaviour and comments expressed by Ghost Theory . It does not hurt anyone to be polite and pleasant but the offensive behaviours and attitude which was expressed could have detrimental effects on someone's psychological well being. I thought they were real, due to their personalities, but this goes against who they are during a normal investigations. Lastly, something seemed fishy about a recent video where they were headed down a long tunnel and a metal roller started rolling, but it wreaked of cuts and bad acting.

I just made a negative comment on a video of GT's from last week. I'll check in a few days to see if I'm shadow blocked. I thought initially they had potential, especially when they turned up with The Ouija Brothers. But by watching a few videos I discovered they don't like a negative comment :-). I stick by my comment in your earlier video, the security guard did nothing wrong. I thought I was being neutral then but now I'm out-and-out in favour of her because of claims being made and backtracked upon so quickly with regards to dog attacks and sacking, is quick editing to dodge facts part of their 'protocol'? I'm assuming they have solid protocols, not arbitrary rules that can be changed on a whim.
If they want to talk about perception, well I perceived this: Two people with a sense of entitlement not taking their licks for a fair loss, instead of saying "you won this time" and moving on they fed a fanbase by arguing false technicalities and making it personal (almost doxxing her)... I could be wrong though,. I'd hate for this to be perceived as an unwelcome opinion but I'm sure they also have a protocol for determining that instead of arbitrarily blocking and shadow banning.
Here's another perception of mine. ID or not, we're in an age where you can be convicted and sentenced by the internet from an edited or out of context clip, your life and those around you can be upended for a mere slip or even if you did nothing wrong (e.g. questionable claims of dog bites). Is it really a wonder that some feel reluctant to give all their credentials on camera to a stranger? If you have nothing to hide, there's still plenty to fear.
(Sorry for rambling, it just winds me up when people bully and then use it as a shield. But hey, my perception could be wrong, in which case please ignore my unwelcome opinion until I change my protocols arbitrarily).

The thing is, their behaviour is frustrating to watch. Keep in mind I watched Ghost Theory well before Beardo. If I felt like Beardo was out of line I'd say so. But what Ghost Theory do here is fire the shots, and then retreat to their hugbox community and try to act like they're above it all. Despite the fact they're the ones who initiate things every time. I don't think many people have seen the comments GT left on your videos originally but they were pretty ridiculous. Seeing Ghost Theory react like this to....what? Basically nothing. A slight disagreement about security initially, whoopty doo.
It's hard to watch. Ghost Theory genuinely need to apologise and move on. But not only that, need to reflect on their behaviour and why they're in the wrong. Not like that will ever happen. But look, they're 100% in the wrong. I'm sorry but they are. They took criticism badly and freaked out and made it oddly personal.

Now, I am trying, as a still-subscriber to them to remain neutral, but I, as a viewer, am getting pushed to the brink. That quote is the proverbial pot calling out the kettle and I just may unsubscribe from them now. You have done nothing but discuss your feelings and I agree and have much respect for you and Mrs Geek. I nearly unsubbed from GT back when this first happened because of the way they behaved. But I thought I'd give them a second chance - could be they realised they overreacted but too embarrassed to admit. I was so disappointed and wanted to see them redeem themselves because I thought they were lovely, funny guys. But they've clearly demonstrated this IS their true personalities and the loveable clowns are an act. I'm so disappointed and will now unsub - not because of anything you've said or done but because I don't like how they've consistently behaved.
As for SmugMug, I'm not in the least bit surprised that he tried to strike you and even less surprised that he got it so badly wrong and clearly doesn't understand the process and implications. The man's an idiot!

It beggars belief that some people can't have a conversation about differing opinions without it devolving into shouting, cursing and just being nasty. Debate your theories and opinions, but be respectful of the other person and their opinion, not everyone is going to agree with you and that's OK.

Caspersight saw one of Ghost Theory's clips in a paranormal top 5 video he reacted to on his channel. He asked his subs if he should react to one of their full investigations, and a lot of them answered yes. I am 99.9% sure that's all there is to it. I ❤ both Beardo and Ben.

Really shocking. What was positive about saying that Joe? 🤔 Really disappointing behaviour from GT. And editing it out makes it worse somehow, they wanted to post it and make sure it got back to you, and then edited it out.

I just saw the GT community post in which they pull the victim card. The only things they are victims of are their own stupidity, arrogance and poor handling of the situation. As for Joe's C bomb they now say they were joking between themselves and meant to edit it out! I'd be more likely to believe it if they didn't have form for posting unpleasant comments and then removing them! I don't want to take sides (I'm not even subbed to Beardo) but GT have behaved poorly here. Everything happening to them is their own responsibilty.

SMH… I was hoping this could get worked out but I guess the old saying is true, when they show you their true colors, believe them! Their childish actions make me crazy. Even when you all were friends, I don’t enjoy a serious event someone goofing off and being extra. They’re both guilty of it.
