Today, I break it all down for you and we talk about the pattern my prayers usually follow, what I focus on in my prayer journal, how I pray scripture, etc. So if you're looking to improve your prayer life, organize your prayer journal, create a prayer routine, or learning how to pray scripture, this is the video for you!
If you are new here, HI! My name is Faith and I am a mom of two toddlers, full time seminary student, and pastor's wife. I love Bible studies and bible journaling and could do it all day long! This is my passion- to study and love the Word and then to capture it here, not to just show you how to faith a life, but to encourage and equip you to live a life of faith!

I got into prayer journaling in November, it really helps me to talk to God more and more if I don’t prayer journal I don’t talk to god
One of your best tips I have embraced was to use my prayer journal for everyday. I love including the daily in prayer not keeping it separate.

This is good! I've usually done a checklist type of prayer journal because I tend to talk a lot when praying. I didn't want to be writing forever and ever. Lol. But a couple months ago I tried a prayer journal entry that was similar to this. I also also print out a monthly budget at the beginning of every month so I stuck that month's budget in my prayer Journal as well because that month was going to be very tight in our finances, so I was praying over our budget.
YES YES YES! I budget in my prayer journal too! For the exact same reason!!!! I think it just shapes my mind so much more into a spirit of like gratefulness that way.
Great video, thank you! I always write dates at my prayer journal when I pray for a person. After a while I look back and see a lot of prayers answered. If prayers are not answered yet, I continue praying for that person or situation. I find it very encouraging to look back and see how many prayers God has answered. Thank you for another great video! 💖 To be honest, I don't use my prayer journal every day. There was one day when I was going into prayer and I just really didn't not feel like writing. I just wanted to say it in my head instead. I can't remember if I was tired or upset or what it was. But then it got me thinking that I don't want to become legalistic with my prayer journal. If I want to write a prayer I will but if I don't that's okay. I can say it in my head or out loud.
As for keeping track of prayers, I just have a sheet I write them down on and go through it. I also have a date I started praying for someone/thing and end date. Although I think I might take your idea and do it monthly instead.

Thank you for your prayers! Sometimes I can get that way too, about my prayer journal! I think it’s smart to make sure you’re not being legalistic!
As for my prayer requests, I def don’t have it figured out perfectly, but that is what’s working for me!
Tried that when you are being honest with God tried to not all the time renege or be negative with God, tried to most of the time when you tell your feelings have this attitude of trusting that he can help you❤

Loved the video! Recently found you and have enjoyed your content. One thing I'd like to add is that we pray for our elected officials: our mayors, governors, our President, Congress. Pray that God give them wisdom, etc to govern in these trying times. I also include our armed forces as well as our police and firefighters.

You don’t need to ask, he knows what you need trust him. Thank him for your many blessings, past, present and future. I delight when he surprises me with gifts with what I need before I know. I was confirmed at 10 and never ask for anything until I WAS 23. Again, when I was 28. Most of the time is thankful. God is good. He loves us no matter what. He is always there 24/7. Don’t worry he will take care of everything. ❤️❤️

I try to follow up and add how God worked in situations when I pray for my family or others. It helps to look back and see how He has answered.

I like to draw a line down the page. On one side I write out my prayer or praise, the other side is left for an answer. I like to go back later to revisit my prayers and write out how I saw God move in that situation… aka the answer to the prayer.

I've always been uncertain about something with prayer journaling. Ideally would you write everything down and then pray out loud? Or is it more meditative and praying silently as you write?

question: i want to surrender my prayer about my family (aka my entire family line or whoever is alive that doesnt believe which is majority of not all 0.0 ) but i keep praying about it or worrying about it. my general worry is that if i surrender, do i just leave it to God and not do anything about it? or should i still pray for them? any advice is appreciated ^^

YOU CAN ALSO PRAY FOR TH KNEW PEOPLE IN YOUT CHURCH OR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT REALLY SAVED (THAT GOD CHOOSE THEM FOR HIS GLORY) IN YOUR CHUCRCH YOU CAN PRAY THAT MORE PEOPLE CAN COME OR FOR THE PEOPLE WHO SERVE OR THE LEADERS OF THE CHRUCH, THE PRAYERS DOESNT HAVE TO BE THAT LONG (YOU CAAN PRAY THAT GOD GIVE THEM STRENGHT, WISDOM, JOY, ETC, or for the people that intercede in prayer, or for God providing for the church in anyway (material, espiritual, etc)
Father, Thank You for Faith🙌🏾 and thank You for the awesome privilege to come into Your presence boldly by the Blood of the Lamb. Thank You Lord Your Word says by Your stripes she is healed. We pray the healing virtue of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would flow through her veins and into every system in her body and that of her family. Touch each of them with Your nail peirced hands, and that Blood that will NEVER loose it power bringing about total healing and restoration. We cover their lives under Your precious Blood. Thank You for giving them Your strength and for raising them up to glorify Your Name and testify of Your healing touch, Your faithfulness and goodness in Jesus Name with Thanksgiving. Amen & Amen🙏🏾

I love to prayer . My heart always urge me to prayer and read Bible but my other mind says I Will read Bible and prayer later. This makes me I'm aethist.Even I am average girl in studies and Life.I want relationship with Jesus.But I can't. When start to prayer my mind s tart to distract me so i can't focus on prayer ... I have been through something recently that still has me messed up. I feel less like a child of God and more like a yard dog. It’s a struggle to even want to pray or read my Bible.
