Your video are much helpful sir..I am not a mechanic yet but working towards becoming one.. With the help of your videos I was able to replace the chain guides on my 1,3 rocam engine..it took me 3 days😂..but finally it's and the noise is gone...thank you😊🙏🏾
Thanx for the comment. I am busy editing the second part of the replacement as well as the third part where I am replacing the timing chain. Look out for them over the next two weeks.
What a great video! I want to know though, just to remove the valve cover to replace the valve cover gasket, is it still necessary to remove the air cleaner and all the other parts?
Thanx for the comment. If it's only the valve cover gasket, it is an easy 10min job. No need to strip any further as nothing except the hoses is attached to the valve cover. . Also won't need to drain oil. You may even get away with not removing the coil-pack that is attached to the valve cover. If not it's also not a train wreck.let me know if you get it right?
@@JacoBadenhorst thanks so much! I thought as much, but loosened all the bolts and that thing is not moving for $h1t 🤣🤣 I even tried to jimmy a small flat in, but too scared that I might crack the cover. I’ve janked and pulled it, but daai ding is vas!
@@justinfine99 be careful to put a screwdriver under it. The head is aluminum and the screwdriver /prybar will mar the surface where the gasket mates.maybe try and see if you can get a putty knife or something like that under the gasket. So that you cut the gasket off without trying to pry the valve cover away from the head. (If the description makes sense) just make sure that you don't drop small pieces of gasket into the engine.
This could be a number of things. 1. Bad Starter Cable 2. Bad Battery 3. Faulty Ignition System 4. Fuel System Problems 5. Engine Problems It is impossible to diagnose over the internet. best bet is to get it checked out by a Mechanic if you are not sure.
I am busy filming the next part. Only got the head back from the engineering works this week. Was busy working on it yesterday. Aiming for Wednesday with the new video.
That is a massive job. If I need to do crank and big-ends I will definitely do a video, but for now. "Don't fix it if it's not broken". Thanx for the comment though.

MAC AFRIC Universal Camshaft & Crankshaft Pulley Holder (Adjustable) Well.thats what it's called at adendorff tools here in south Africa, but it looks like a generic offshore tool, so my guess would be that you could find something similar anywhere.
@@JacoBadenhorst Thank you very much! I have a Ford focus 1 Duratec Rocam, I have to remove the block head, I am doing repairs in my garage. But there are very few videos with my car, but the Rocam engines are the same I noticed
@@FordRocam Поршень не нуждается в шлифовке. Просто удалите как можно больше углерода на поршне. Убедитесь, что между поршнем и втулкой не попадет мусор. Также, если вы не работаете на шатуне и подшипниках на коленчатом валу, не нужно оттачивать втулку.

High Jaco i desperately need help, recently am experiencing hard start on my Ford bantam 1.3, what might be the cause of that
This could be a number of things.

Sounds like you have a dead battery or bad ground.

😢 I think my Baby also blown that Gasket as she has that milky stuff and chows Coolant, no bubbles in reservoir. 14 years now, she still a virgin
If the oil looks like chocolate milkshake, she has definitely got oil in the coolant and that = a blown head gasket. Let me know how it goes.
