I'm honestly surprised you haven't reacted to a lot of Taeyeon's music/performances, considering she is one of the best if not THE BEST vocalist in Kpop

If tier list is made, Taeyeon is definitely in the top tier, but along with above mentioned vocalists

Taeyeon's voice basically sounds like her speaking voice that's why she's singing effortless, she dont need to force her self to come up with that voice. Thats why when shes singing shes like talking to you. Love her

I think this is how SM train their vocalist? Since I notice all SM's vocalist doesnt 'change' their voice to fit certain vibe--they use their natural voice. I saw a video where classical musician react to SNSD (I forgot which one), one of them point this out too!

@@ferrinaauliaeden7129 that is true, but she does spend a lot of time at the company building and is bound to run into other sm artists. i think when she does meet up with other artists, she made train them a bit.

@@acitysodead both songs that i mean are "All About You" and "If". Yeah the background colors are orange and dark blue.
2:33 It sounded exactly the same as the original music, she doesn't need any autotune at all.
Some of the songs here are drama ost. She’s also famous for filling in amazing soundtracks for korean drama, because her singing is known for being able to convey the emotions of the characters / scenes amazingly. It’s so impactful i always got chills whenever her songs came out during scenes. Even her ost charts well too
Taeyeon's uniqueness is that she doesn't just sing, she tells a story and involves you in it.

Honestly there is a song from taeyon called better babe that made me want to write some good songs but i feel like I'm not in the level were i can come up with bop songs like she got, anyway she got such good songs out there please react to her solo music

Well like they say, Rome wasn't built in one day :) These songwriters didn't make bops straight away because to become a good one, you need to know what works with you the best and what doesn't. Kind of like with everything, it takes practice and repetition. If you keep trying with writing songs, I'm sure you'll get there!

Ballads and OST are Taeyeon's masterpieces going back as far as 2008 which she sang here. However she has branched out in the recent few years to other genres which exemplified by the other type of songs she sang here.
You only sound effortless if you are so used to it via countless hours of practice and training.

3:50 that's her first solo song and still in my heart since then.

Taeyeon is my favorite vocalist of all time. I love her voice and songs. Whenever she sings ballad, I always feels like it's raining. It's sad but it keeps me calm. I really don't care about range or whatever, I just want to connect to music and she's the best one who gave it to me
