I saw them in about 1988. They opened for squeeze. I had never heard of them and was surprised at this young girl with a beautiful voice and crazy dancing. In my opinion, She is the best female songwriter.
I ll never forget watching her make the video for carnival , I just happened to sit on a bench with her stylist and briefly met her . It was an amazing moment

You were those flowers i saw dancing in the sun and wind, I could only admire you from afar, but you still blessed me to know every sweet emotion.

I first heard a version of this version during Natalie's appearance at The Orpheum in March 2016 and it was one of the most moving sets of moments in music I've ever experienced ... like an injured bird finding healing and taking flight.
