If you watch when the kick is good, there is a guy standing right at the goalpost and takes that padding off as soon as he sees the kick is good! It was planned! Happened before several times. Also if you noticed Security didn’t worry initially about goalposts. Their primary concern at first was getting the Alabama players & coaches safely off the field. They did that & then turned their attention to the goalposts.
