Humans can't even keep from going to war with each other. As long as there is a power gap between humans and mutants then humans will always feel fear of being knocked from the top of the food chain. And fear makes a lot of people do stupid stuff. Magneto was right in that mutants need there own country and need to always be ready to protect themselves against humans. That I agree with.

Same voice actor from the 90s that went into politics. I’m glad it’s the same person but her voice has changed. She has nailed some lines but like Harrison Ford visually de-aged to play younger Indy the voices should be de-aged to match the character.
A lot of people say he deserved it but remember that this is X-men. People like Magneto has seized military bases and threaten humanity to flatten entire cities, he sometimes conquered habited regions and became a tyranical ruler, causing the death of many innocent lives. You also have characters such as Jean Grey who caused billions to die because of the Phoenix. Bolivar Trask made the "gun" but he wasn't the one to pull the trigger nor he wanted such a thing to happen. Like Stan Lee wrote it in X-Men #016 = Beware the Fanatic! Too often his cure is deadlier by far than the evil he denounces. Trask wanted to help humanity but he created a far worse threat than Magneto or Juggernaut (being the biggest threats at the time). And when you see alt universe you can see the full destructive potential of the Sentinels. What I liked in the original story is that Trask gave his own life to destroy Master Mold and save the X-Men and I wondered if he was about to help them too in X-Men 97. But who knows, he's not dead yet as Jean stated that his mind was still there in this hybrid body.

@tamamabibi This is realistically what someone like Rogue would do/think. Wanting to have their cake and eat it, too. There's no guarantee except what a writer dictates that Rogue would never do that again. Eh, maybe she permanently choose Gambit in the end. But after what she did, it means nothing. Nobody should be with someone who was willing to toss them aside like Rogue was. What's sad is I know for a fact that Gambit is gonna take her back if he ever gets resurrected and a little bit of my respect for him is gonna vanish when he does. Their relationship has always had its struggles and she is scared of hurting or killing him like she did to her Best friend when she was younger. The closer she allows herself to get to him, the higher the danger that she might hurt him and that's why she often pushes him away. I have not been happy to see the show putting her and magneto together but I'm glad it made her realise she couldn't deny her heart. Just annoyed they have killed him off! 😔

Although I agree that Rogue was indecisive at first and she should have acted better, but that's how we humans are. Nobody with any backbone would ever take back someone like that. If I were suddenly put in charge now, Gambit would move on and Rogue simply would never have him again. That's what she had earned with her actions.

They only got officially married back around 2017. Like I said. They were NOT officially dating through the series. Was there flirting and deep feelings they shared for one another? Yes. But that doesn’t change the fact that they were not a couple. So Rogue did not cheat on him. In fact during the first couple seasons ( and in the comics) Gambit was secretly engaged to another woman named Belladonna from back in New Orleans who was part of the Assassin’s Guild; while being a member of the X-Men, and flirting with Rogue, and making passes at her. Well, Gambit is dead along with all the people in Genosha, so it's not being selfish, just reaching a breaking point. Considering how much of a living hell Rogue had with her powers and not being able to touch anyone. Considering her character, Rogue has really had enough and is propably going to use her power, purely out of grief as well as venting out on how misserable her life has been since she got her powers, combined with the fact the most immportant people in her life are dead, she sees no point at holding back anymore. Sometimes when you see yourself as a monster, you eventaully become one.

Logan's been a killer longer than the rest of this X-men team has been alive, and the rest of the X-men's patience has worn out after all the persecution and death. If you've paid any attention to the comics, there comes a time where Cyclops begins to truly believe that Magneto was right, because the humans WILL NOT leave them alone. Every time they try to build a refuge and live in peace, the humans destroy it and kill more mutants. Eventually one comes to the conclusion that for mutants to have safety and peace, the humans have to die.

THE ROGUE FROM THE ORIGINAL ANIMATED SERIES was a sassy but sweet person, even thought she suffered for not being able to touch, she keep being gentle and wanting to do the best to help the world, even saving evil mystique. She treated Remy with care and respect. And she didnt needed to touch him to know they loved each other. This NEW Rogue couldnt even get Remy's feelings "for the lack of touch", she mistreated him in favor of his ex, and finally uses the excuse of "helping Genosha", to be back with her ex, and just gets rid of the guy who couldnt fullfill her h0rny needs, even knowing FOR HER, HE WAS ALSO RENOUNCING "TO TOUCH" BECAUSE HE LOVED HER. Now, she doesnt even go to his funeral, and she turns again in rage and just made herself a murderer... Really?....anything of this, sound heroic to me....

For her being Magneto at least offers a physical conection (since it's revealed her powers have Magnetical properaties), yet she still loves Remy, but felt she could never be with him if she can't touch him, making this even more painful for her. Sadly, by the time she was willing to give it another try and do her best to be with Gambit, he was dead. Actaully I think it made her more interesting and human. Her relationship with Magneto also seems to perfectly demostrate the desperation of her situation, despite wanting to be with Gambit. For her, there was other alternative if she can't be with someone who can't touch her. No doubt, she had enough with the way things have turned for her. I am aware that the COMICS has done WTFS a lot for all the characters, but the original animated series should be the guideline to HOW AND WHAT are they going TO ADAPT MATERIAL FROM THE COMICS without it CONTRADICTING THE ORIGINAL SERIES, AND DONT SHOWING the worst WFTs that comics have come up with among the years. But It seems the showrunner like the controversial issues to create impact. Sadly that tarnishes the way the original characters were, and their sense of honor, ans justice, always focused on doing WHAT IS RIGHT FOR THE SAKE OF PEACE.

People like Magneto has seized military bases and threaten humanity to flatten entire cities, he sometimes conquered habited regions and became a tyranical ruler, causing the death of many innocent lives. You also have characters such as Jean Grey who caused billions to die because of the Phoenix.
Bolivar Trask made the "gun" but he wasn't the one to pull the trigger nor he wanted such a thing to happen.
Like Stan Lee wrote it in X-Men #016 = Beware the Fanatic! Too often his cure is deadlier by far than the evil he denounces.
Trask wanted to help humanity but he created a far worse threat than Magneto or Juggernaut (being the biggest threats at the time). And when you see alt universe you can see the full destructive potential of the Sentinels.
What I liked in the original story is that Trask gave his own life to destroy Master Mold and save the X-Men and I wondered if he was about to help them too in X-Men 97. But who knows, he's not dead yet as Jean stated that his mind was still there in this hybrid body.

Their relationship has always had its struggles and she is scared of hurting or killing him like she did to her Best friend when she was younger. I have not been happy to see the show putting her and magneto together but I'm glad it made her realise she couldn't deny her heart. Just annoyed they have killed him off! 😔

I don't care if it was in the comics or not, some things should just stay buried.
She had plenty of time to find out if she loved Gambit. But like I said, she tossed him aside. Nobody with any backbone would ever take back someone like that. It's kinda like that situation and considering the nature of Rogue's powers, she's clearly had enough. All those years of lacking physical contact and losing Remy greatly awakened all the anger she had burried with herslef all these years and now it's finally being brought out in the open.

Yeah. The writters really ruined her big time on this show. I am going to separate both characters. THE ROGUE FROM THE ORIGINAL ANIMATED SERIES was a sassy but sweet person, even thought she suffered for not being able to touch, she keep being gentle and wanting to do the best to help the world, even saving evil mystique. She treated Remy with care and respect. And she didnt needed to touch him to know they loved each other. This NEW Rogue couldnt even get Remy's feelings "for the lack of touch", she mistreated him in favor of his ex, and finally uses the excuse of "helping Genosha", to be back with her ex, and just gets rid of the guy who couldnt fullfill her h0rny needs, even knowing FOR HER, HE WAS ALSO RENOUNCING "TO TOUCH" BECAUSE HE LOVED HER. Now, she doesnt even go to his funeral, and she turns again in rage and just made herself a murderer...

I don't think she's selfish, just all those years of physical isolation and lonilessness have really taken their toll, leaving her desperate with feeling something. For her being Magneto at least offers a physical conection (since it's revealed her powers have Magnetical properaties), yet she still loves Remy, but felt she could never be with him if she can't touch him, making this even more painful for her. Sadly, by the time she was willing to give it another try and do her best to be with Gambit, he was dead. Actaully I think it made her more interesting and human. Her relationship with Magneto also seems to perfectly demostrate the desperation of her situation, despite wanting to be with Gambit. For her, there was other alternative if she can't be with someone who can't touch her. No doubt, she had enough with the way things have turned for her. To IGNORE Gambit's feelings and only focusing on "me me me" IS ABSOLUTELY SELFISH: my feelings, my physical needs, my pain. What about Remy's? She knew he loved her. The guy could have thought just like her an said: "you know what, this gal likes me, but its too much of a problem for me: she touches me she can kill me, so I AM NEVER GOING TO FULLFILL MY PSYSHICAL NEEDS WITH HER. Remy was ok with sacrificing his chance "to touch" and share Rogue's pain on the matter, "for love to her", but she just ignored this for "her needs". Also, if she was not interested on him and what he offered to her, she should have clarified that to him, said "thanks but no thanks" and Remy would have "moved on" a lot sooner than his own feelings were deep. She used him to feel pampered while he was useful to her, then drop him as soon as physical chance arised. Thats horrible and selfish.

She was 17 YEARS OLD when she was at the Brotherhood, so Mystique used her to defeat Ms Marvel. We have had A 5 SEASON SERIES where ALL THE CHARACTERS GROW UP. They learn to trust, to believe in friendship and to love. Now WITH THIS ROGUE WE THROW TO THE GARBAGE BIN ALL WHAT SHE GROW UP in the seach of redeptiom for her mistakes from the past. Thats just stupid. But thats the way they are portraying Rogue in this series. The only characters they are doing ok is JUBILEE, STORM AND SO FAR BEAST, but they already made him say something dark like he is going to turn him into a radical hater of humanity, destroying his nice and idealistic image for rage. Scott and Jean I dont even know what to say. AND I AM TALKING ABOUT HE ANIMATED SERIES which is the matter of discusion here. I am aware that the COMICS has done WTFS a lot for all the characters, but the original animated series should be the guideline to HOW AND WHAT are they going TO ADAPT MATERIAL FROM THE COMICS without it CONTRADICTING THE ORIGINAL SERIES, AND DONT SHOWING the worst WFTs that comics have come up with among the years. But It seems the showrunner like the controversial issues to create impact. Sadly that tarnishes the way the original characters were, and their sense of honor, ans justice, always focused on doing WHAT IS RIGHT FOR THE SAKE OF PEACE.
