To be honest, the hole.io game is very different from the other game. It's only the black hole idea they took and that's fine. The original game would never have sold any more copies if released first. It's grade school kids that play the hole.io game versus each other during lunch break. The original game would never capture that audience.
Could you try the Adguard VPN and give a review. I personally feel that its a must have app for anyone, would like to here out your opinion!
SD Maid is good. It shows a lot of crap taking up space u aren't even aware about.
ow shittt..i use super vpn ... i just uninstalled it now after i watch this ...
hey is "youtubeVANCED" is safe?
The "junk" files that many cleaning apps claim to clean are actually caches that your device generates so it doesn't have to go through certain hardware intensive processes more than once
I wish more people knew this. They think they're speeding up their phone just because it's freeing up storage even though it's slowing down their phone by deleting files that serve a purpose.
I mean, for me, i know what they are doing and allow it. I have only 5 gbs left, so the app just helps to clear cache on apps i rarely use
Yeah but the apps which you delete also keep useless junk files. I recently ran into that issue. For the first time, my phone's storage was full and it was such a Hassel just because of those junk files. My phone's stock phone manager app didn't even show the junk files. But when I installed Avast security app from playstore, it showed that I had 5gb in junk memory and 2 malwares
Most free "VPN's" aren't even VPN's but proxys. And an VPN will not protect you against hackers, that's a wide misconception. Because when 'the hacker' has access to your client, it's doesn't matter if (extra) encryption is in place or not, since there is no check on the data that's flowing through.
Pretty much. I don't think you should really put any trust in VPN services free or paid at all to not sell your data. I guess TOR is your best bet. But yeah, I use these proxys to simply access websites not available in my country rather than hiding my data.
What if you just want to hide your IP address to avoid legal consequences when torrenting? I think these apps are fine for that use
Speaking of clone apps, I used to test out some launchers and offline music players. Some of them are 100% same with different names and a different theme. Either the apps are stolen or the developers themselves upload under different guise to get more downloads.
I was really looking for an honest review to all these crappy apps, amazing stuff, keep it up man!
Great content as always, really love this channel also the creator is a very humble person❤️
This feels refreshing and actually very helpful. Great content!
Such a great video, That's why I have always stayed true to your channel since way back
great video🔥👏🏼
this was needed!
Can you make another video with Android apps that we should know about
Very helpful! I wish Warden would give the tracker and logger counts in the Apps list after a scan. It's a pain to have to click each app to get the data that Warden has already collected. I'm going to think again about rooting. Every time I read about it, I get scared off by the warnings.
Thinking about it as well. The biggest pain is losing OTA updates/security patches.
Yes
Also not working banking apps
Great to know that you are getting outlets like The Morning Brew, which is actually pretty sick, to sponsor your videos :)
Another great example of apps to avoid are sponsored apps/products you never know if they actually feel the things they got paid to say
Awesome content for real!!!! Videos like this are really helpful.
One of your best videos man! Very informative, thank you!!
I've learned so much from this video. Thank you man!
Happy to watch the regular content :))
Another exception to performance or battery boosters are any kernel managers that overclock or underclock and/or change scaling governor (but they need root too).
Just soo glad with tha info and the research put into this vid.. HATs Off brother ❤️😏🔥🔥🔥🔥
I will add - don't give any app permission in accessibility option, if you do they can observe anything you do on screen.
It's really an awesome informative video. Learnt a lot of new thong out of this. Eagerly looking forward for more videos like this one which educates us. KAPOW!
*Please* make a video like an "Ultimate Privacy Guide", a one stop place to ensure as private online life as possible. Updated regularly.

I have a samsung phone with compulsory FB services and I'd like to know how to remove them and more.
I doubt hes going to make that since he usually doesn't make those types of videos you should probably check out some other youtubers like techlore or the hated one if you want videos on privacy.
removing facebook services might be difficult adb will probably work and theres already likely other software spying on you like google play services you should try a firewall app that will prevent certain apps from connecting to the internet. or what is a lot better is to check if your phone supports a custom rom and flash one lineage os is most likely to support your phone.
There are also some good places you can ask more questions like r/privacytoolsio and r/degoogle is another good place to find people. To help to get back your privacy
Thank you man. Really appreciate it. Your a good man.
Great suggestions especially Warden!
Wow u r not just grate at giving style advice for phone but helpful thank u
Make a series of this as well !
Thanks for making these informative videos. You got a new sub.
Just out of curiosity, could these app developers sue How To Men for defaming their apps. Loving the content, you got yourself a new sub.
It's not defaming it's just a review
There's no malicious intent behind it
If i say voodo apps finance terrorism that would be defaming
@@3Chandresh3 Thanks 😌🙏
I doubt it will fly. Facts are not defamation. He should only need to demonstrate trackers and the suit would be dismissed.
Defemation involves and is predicated on false information
In my dictionary "Free" means we will sell the crap out of your data without you knowing it.
What about foss meaning free and open source software
@Naymul Islam how youtube vanced is great for example and brave ungoogled chromium etc is also great
@Naymul Islam Not all of them have crappy UI.
Aurora Store/Droid, Warden, Newpipe, ProtonMail/VPN, Pulse Music, Brave, Bromite, Ungoogled Chromium, etc. have very Great UI, and all of them are FOSS
nah open source ....are good
@Naymul Islam No they don’t. That situation is improving. Now, most F-Droid apps have awesome UI’s
Amazing and useful video, thank you!
Amazing video, very helpful!
Thank you for the information it's a very useful video
I love it my bro keep up the work and I love the video lot 💯 💯
This is awesome man 🔥
Very useful video thanks 🙏👍
I downloaded once a "launcher" from the google store, and it broke the battery somehow!... As the phone was dead, I did order a new battery (from reading some comments online), booted on recovery mode, wiped it out, and voilà, the phone worked again, with the new battery (I did try back with the old, but no luck.) Strange thing, but I'm not touching a launcher again... not even Nova, which has so many raving reviews.
Thanks to you, your videos helps a lot
Thanks a lot 😊 this video is really really helpful ❤️
4:00 i remember huawei do this the most i had a p9 and yeah notifications from instagram etc.. was late or not at all
Love your informative channel.
File by Google does not show Google Drive or pCloud and does not has an "unmount" for disconnecting external flash drive. Just pulling the plug results in a warning to restart.
Samsung file manager does show Google Drive and an unmount command, but doesn't display my pCloud
I didn't see a clear cache option.
There is, in the "clean" feature, the option to delete and send to SD Card or pCloud some files but not all. Also, no send to Google Drive. Yes, Google FM doesn't send to Google D. What were they thinking?
I'll take Solid Explorer FM for a spin.
Thanks a bunch for all of your help!
7:11 use the tempmail on browser lol, the app may be bad but browser one has no probs
A free vpn that is trustable is proton vpn, they are based in switzerland and the EU Commission regularly recommedns it to countries within the eu in trying times
Make this a series! Like and subbed with notifs on
Very good video, although I'm app nerd I found this helpful
I just subscribed. Been watching a lot of your videos lately and I really enjoy your professional insight on the android algorithm. Thank you
Hey, I'm your new sub. I have a question. Is it or will it be dangerous to get apk or files from third party websites like apkmirror, mediafire or the one i use more to install games which is called revdl or rexdl?
Temp mail is a different service. It's not a normal emails manager app. It gives you a temporary email address.
Right, I don't think he was saying otherwise, just that it was one of the dangerous apps.
@@22stunt45 It doesn't have access to our personal email accounts like the other email apps he talked about. It just gives you a temp email to register into untrusted websites. I don't use this app but I've been using their service through their website for a long time now. IDK about trackers but I can say for sure it doesn't have access to our personal email accounts as he said
@@22stunt45 he didn't say they were dangerous just that people weren't satisfied with the app
1;53 Actually there’s a whole lot more you need to do to stay private on the internet, and this barely scratches the surface
Speaking of throwbacks... No frills CPU App, Titanium Backup, Greenify (before doze was a thing), Facesniff, WifiKill, Android phones with a slideout keyboard
Naptime does not require rooting -- but if not rooted it does require two ADB commands.
What about Orbot/Tor on android and also built in VPN of Ookla Speed Test App (in relation to free VPN) ????
Please answer this q.🙏
9:48 What a downgrade. On my old android phone the permissions is shown before installing any app
Really helpful info!
Thanks for this info 👍
Thanks I've learned a lot from this video
wait what i thought temp mail is not actually a mail app, like only for temporary mails to test something out, make dump accounts, or if you are sketchy of a site login or smthn.
Always like your content ❤️
Good topic... thanks!
Quick note if your Google account has advanced protection you can't download warden from the website you can only download apps directly from the Play store
And it appears not to be there
please make a video on virtual android apps like vmos and F1 VM Lite on android. Is it safe to use them?
one of the best yet underrated channel
The only RAM cleaner and app booster I use is the official one from Samsung lol always been to scared to download 3rd party software to do it....
Use lte cleaner instead of that proprietary junk
samsung also has an vpn itself
Just reboot your phone
I have a couple of voodoo games. Is there any easy way to find what app each voodoo game is a clone of?
Pro tip: Go into settings and disable battery saving features completly by adding every app in your phone to the list of "apps that never sleep" and close the apps manually after you are finished with them. Issue solved, no network issues or other issues, you only need to remember to close your apps when you dont need them anymore or use the "close all" apps int he open apps list..
Remove a few trash apps like bixby, google voice and such from the list of "apps that never sleep" so those can be monitored by the phone and if you never use them, they will never start.
Go lazy or go pro..
4:05 never happened to me on my samsung however 2 of my friends (both pixel users) overslept on school and work days because their alarm didnt go off
clear guide worked well with for sharing.
Solid explorer is my favorite so I've bought the pro version
What a video! Kudos HowToMen!
Phew, after seeing naptime in the desc. i was a bit scared since it has had root access for years.
Ive been using it for a long time and it works really well, used my phone only a bit today and still 76%. thats 24% in 10.5 hrs with maybe 45 - 60 mins of usetime. (This is on a s21 ultra with adb instead of root)
This is a very epic video. Good stuff!
Warden stop its update lasy july 2020, i want to install it but why there is no 2022 update
Is it good to use Avast ?
It seems that Voodo is a big fan of Disney's Star Wars the Clone Wars.
What about greenify for managing background apps?
Libero mail is an email provider here in Italy. I think it was needed for an ISPs but I never used it.
Sometimes ISPs block apps like gmail so they make an app to use the email on phones.
Also tempmail is an app for temporary emails, I don't think it supports normal email adresses. (but I don't reccomend it, as I never got this service to work)
Are free movie apps safe? Like Bee TV or CinemaHD
Great bro thanks for helping us ☺️😊
I use Proton VPN on my Galaxy and iPad but the free version. There is Proton VPN Plus so I'm not sure. Can you help me Facundo?
How about Fdroid's Blokada?Keeps the apps from sending information out!
Please provide timestamps...it helps a lot
Whta about using grammerly software or App in our Phone/PC.Just share about that...
What about proton VPN ? It's safe right?
What about tor or orbot?
Oof hope somebody makes a playlist of all these videos 🤩
Greenify is also a good option if you wanna limit the background apps
Greenify used to be great. It's not needed anymore though since Android now does pretty much everything it does and has since Android 9
Now default Android 10 and above have this option in settings
but they say contacts for sharing links but why access that, just give us share option
I had everything of these and i deleted after seeing this video , is my phone safe now ?
Free VPNs are, ineed, risky, to put it mildly. However, I would say most people use them to get access to region-restricted content, not for safety, and ignore the risks, even if they are aware of them.
I remembered about 1 year ago, I installed a phone cleaner, and it's not cleaning my phone and it always drain my battery like crazy, and my phone is really lag, when I checked on my settings, the battery drains a lot, and my phone is very hot. The app itself is 10M downloads that time, a lot of people downloaded that app.
At first I download that app. I don't know what to say, I thought the app works... But then I realized that the app is not cleaning my junk files or something. After about a few days I have that app in my phone, my phone is getting so hot even when I just watchinh CZcams. Then I checked on my battery settings that the cleaner app is on the first place draining battery. I quickly uninstall the app. But it still draining my battery and my phone still how, I tried to restart my phone but it's not working. I'm panic don't know what to do that time. And tomorrow after that, uhm.. it might looks dumb but, I download that app again, and theb delete the app and thank god! That works!
It is so scary that a popular app is suspicious and can lead to taking data.
Be careful when you download apps!
Iam here man thx for the vid keeo going, CAN I ASK ONE QUESTION SOO WARDEN SHOWED ME THAT COD MOBILE HAD 14 TRACKERS AND VIBER 9 TRACKERS SHOULD I GET RID OF THEM?
You wanna play cod or not? You should make your own decision. You could also root and block using the app or try using an adblocker to block trackers by blocking their urls/ips. I’d recommend adaway, it has a rooted and a non root way. The non root way uses a vpn so you sasly cant use any vpn then
@@koevoet7288 thx alot !! I made my decision
Can i root myphone i just what to get rid of pre installed
why do people use a mail app when they already have it , I wanna know one scenario where its needed
Thank you for showing warden, because I found like 14 apps that track me (with http links too). Not all heroes wear capes.
What about Proton VPN and SD Maid Pro?
And the fact that voodoo games need internet connection for ads so they can get money. If you try putting flight mode on, it says you cant play
I paid for a VPN & it slowed my internet down and now it did not stop me from getting a virus and not too long after I've only styled it hanging up having my number what's going stolen and my I had cards on accounts used. By the way I also had paid for dfndr but it didn't do anything
There is actually one genuine free VPN - ProtonVPN. The free version has only basic features but it's better than nothing.
What about a TOR like Orbot?
you also have to consider some bad camera apps
What about blokada vpn? Can anyone give me suggestions?
