Ethan and Kat Pippitt are the proud owners of Standing Stone Kennels. They breed German Shorthaired pointers and train all types of dogs for the hunt and the home. Their training strategies are easy to follow and are flexible to meet the needs of individual dogs. They are avid outdoorsmen and when they aren't training dogs they spend their free time hunting all kinds of game across the United States.

It’s awesome seeing how everything comes together watching later training videos. It clicks, that’s why he did that with the pup.

Love your videos thank you!!! We are getting an Irish doodle. I have a 2 year old and May see some issues with the puppy stealing the food out of my sons hands. Any suggestions with this to either include my son or not mix up the touch training with my wife and I and the dog maybe seeing this as an ok thing to steal the food.
My son will probably also want to feed him his snacks since he like to share with everyone.
    Thank you

You guys are studs and know how to work/train a dog. What do I do the 23.75 hours of the day. There in the kennel at night for 6 hours...

Do you find that you have trouble with the “here” and “heal” similarities.
I taught my WPG here and I couldn’t help notice how heal and here sound very similar. Thinking about changing commands now.

The times you don’t train with the puppies food, do you just put the food in a bowl and wait to the puppy’s finished eating?

Is it too late to train a GSP? I rescued a GSP probably 6-7 months old. Doesn't answer her name. Would like to pheasant hunt with her

Go to their website to see info on buying from their kennel. GSP vary in a price range from $1000-$1500 in my experience, and require you to put a minimum deposit down. Our pup is 9 weeks old and we paid $1000 with a $200 initial deposit.
