I was really excited to try Stonington Gray but it was SUPER blue on a south facing room :/ it’s really hard to find a true gray. I wish they just used black and white to make gray instead of red, greens and blues.

Hi Karla. Unfortunately in my room it ended up looking beige. Fortunately this was the first time I decided to purchase a sampler. Saved me $$. I will mention after seeing a friend's new home as she loves that perfect soft Gray as well and the color is called Reflection by Sherwin Williams so I got a sampler from Home Depot and next day I purchased 3 gallons just to play it safe and it is an amazing True Gray. One wall with stripes of Gray and White, the rest Gray. Looks gorgeous. Thank you for sharing even though it didn't work in my room.

Second choice we thought was a gray with slight brown tint but really gray and this finished with powdered color of gray but looks like off white middle of the day (thought it would be the classic gray you mentioned). Hi Isabel, thanks so much! If you are painting the cabinets chantily lace white you might want to consider painting the walls the same colour. Considering you have grey and espresso in the furniture I'd suggest trying Simply White for the cabinets as it's a warmer white and then you could do the walls the same color. Let me know how it goes! Karla
