'Silence between the ears of the heart'
Like the sound of the forest silence between the ears of the heart brings me peace
Like sea waves bring shells onto the shore, it takes a plea for help to the Creator
That he would restore my face which I had before my birth here
That he would fill the mind with everything and nothing that I knew and I forgot
She is like a wild leopard which approaches his prey in stillness
And like femininity with her scent that lures manhood to the bed at night
She is the emptiness that cannot be found anywhere but fills up everything
And does not promise anything although she fills up everyone's glass of life
It is in her if the ears of our heart will hear it, we will find our answers
And we will bring the soul back home in a vehicle we call the body
She will be showing us directions in life like a signs on the road
And the truth about what surrounds us in this place will be shown by her

Only the ego hasn't seen itself objectivly without results. Its the perception of being objective in acceptance allows a certain merging to happen. Yet its understanding can not be defined or contained by certainty and materiality.

Absolute silence is like a fully charged battery - not needing anything. We have needs therefore we're in a deficit existence / reality. If I reverse my attachments (ego) by letting go I can escape the crude areas that is part of this reality. Many lifetimes... many journeys to its goal.

Duality is an illusion .You are already the absolute.
Ii like Shunyamurti's meditations and talks although am I alone in noticing that the basis behind his work is Ramana Maharishi who taught through silence. Shunyamurti is anything but silent!! No criticism here just humour.
Is any of this true, is such thing as peace?
It’s a clear statement of the theory, truth be told. Vedanta and other schools. Still I wonder if it is actually the case, if this is really the way things are. I guess some/ many of us who are very familiar with this kind of thesis still have this fundamental doubt.

Balance of probabilities logic truth versus doubt , I slant to the former ...
Words pierce ones inside different to how ‘ general’ worldly logic or words would. It feel true beyond understanding why.
One simply has to try with sincerity for a sustained period. Only then can any conviction of reality or not be counted .
How can silencing the mind happen? Is mind silencing itself? First it is said that it can happen through non-action. Then it is said that one must do this and that? Is non action an action too? Is non action causal? Is realization causal? If not, then what can we do, if we can really do, to experience something acausal?
The mind is already silent. It is the attempt to understand that keeps attention fixated on noise. Nonsense makes sense of itself when the mind is not busy trying to make sense of it.
Non-action means no mind action. Mind is obstacle. Silence is there, everywhere we need to grasp it or you can say listen to it. Some called it Stillness, emptiness or ether (Akash) the fifth element.
we redirect attention to inner listening...this brings silence.
Silence is the language of God all else is poor translation - Rumi
The point is missed if one needs to talk about the silence?
