30 days of character design until I get hired (actually)

- I'm shocked to announce that the 30 days of character design challenge has officially begun, and there's no going back,
so here's the character design rules,
1) Studying one artist per day and making an original character inspired by their style,
2) Having at least 5 different poses of the character,
3) Completing one fullscreen page of that character in different poses and posting it on Instagram ( saraartmine... )
4) Posting a video of my process everyday at 10 am pacific time
5) And at the end of the 30 days challenge I have to have enough credentials to get hired as a character designer, otherwise I’m starting the whole thing over,
it's the most intense drawing challenge I have ever done and it feels unreal that I am actually going to draw nonstop for 30 days.
what I hope to get out of this challenge: improving my character design skill, getting a job as a character designer, and torturing myself (Jk)!

this is the first time I've seen an art video about an artist who's going for the character designer career! that's what I'm working towards so I'm glad I found this vid. I think if I do this challenge *minus the content part* it'll improve my art A LOT.

I like and watch your videos. And don't worry about not going to art school, I'm majoring in fine art and my professor states that you can learn and be taught better from all the resources online, and that the thing I'm paying for is structure, and being around other artists.

Just a little side note though, don't feel discouraged if you finish the challenge and don't get hired. You probably know this, but the animation industry is going through turbulent times right now, so not getting a job in this area probably won't be because you're not skilled enough. Either way, i'm excited to follow your progress!!
