Tractor Seat Teardrop Stool

Oh the things one comes up with while under COVID-19 quarantine. This made for a simple project while social distancing.
I made a tractor seat stool using the base of a teardrop side table. It combines a little rustic country with the modern look.
I had to turn the leaf spring of the tractor seat around to move the center of gravity forward but it is still a little risky to sit on. I hope to eventually modify the design by either, extending the bottom of rod out of the bottom a little or using a metal plate to move the seat a little further forward.
While in it current state it is impractical, it can be used as a planter, or just a decorative piece. Perhaps a glass top on the tractor seat is warranted.
