    CZcams never ceases to amaze me with the oddball tasks people have dedicated the time to make a video to help someone out... exactly what I needed

    You absolutely saved my floors with your tips. The handyman didn't put a drop cloth down and my floors were a mess. I got a shoe polishing brush and some cleaning fluid and scrubbed, and it worked when nothing else would! Thanks 1000x

      That can happen. So glad to hear you were able to get it out! Happy to help. What was the square footage you ended up having to scrub?

      "The one used in this video is the Bona Power Scrubber. There are similar machines by other manufacturers such as the Basic Coatings Dirt Dragon."

    For the Hand Scrubbing procedure, will microfibre work or is it best to use terry cloth?

    • @rwsupplydesign
      @rwsupplydesign  Před 3 dny

      I use a brush to scrub and terry cloth to wipe up. You could use microfiber to wipe up as well. The key with whatever you use is to make sure you don’t let the cloth get loaded with dust/dirt. Keep switching to clean sides of the cloth and then new cloths as the one you’re using gets loaded.

    Can floor scrubber machine be used on engineered hardwood?

    • @rwsupplydesign
      @rwsupplydesign  Před 5 měsíci

      "Yes. The floor in this video is actually an engineered wood floor. The key with any type of wood floor is to make sure the machine is vacuuming almost all of the liquid back up off of the floor so that you don’t have standing liquid or puddles on the floor or within in gaps."

    The problem is the drywall joint compound which has the ability to adhere to the surface and in the grain once it's mopped. I have developed a system to actually remove it. It removes nearly all the joint compound. I would not suggest staining and re-coating it.

    • @rwsupplydesign
      @rwsupplydesign  Před 3 dny

      That makes sense as joint compound is ‘activated’ by water. We’d love to learn new methods. What is your method to remove it with using moisture?
