Curious what your thoughts are on the current recall on the fuel pump. There isn't yet a fix for it. Any worries driving it with this potential ticking bomb in the fuel tank? Thoughts?
This fuel pump is on the engine.The lift pump in the tank doesn't have any issues. I'm super glad they issued the recall. These cp4 pumps have been an issue for every vehicle they have been on. Chevy and Cummins both use them, Jeep is the only one to offer a recall. Chevy and Cummins make you pay out of pocket if it's out of warranty. So us Jeep people get a forever warranty basically with this recall aleast until they come up with a new pump. So I don't really worry about it at all.
Mine has 28K no issues so far, all good with the Ecodiesel. Driven alllllllll over the country, literally.
