My cat was fixed and still wanted to go outside. He would sit perched by the front door and garage door. He recently got out, and we didn't know. He was hit by a neighbors car. I miss him so much!!!
I cannot tell you how annoying my Cat could be 😂, I usually gotta open the doors slightly or make sure he’s carried or occupied so that he wouldn’t escape, he’s a former stray which is understandable in most cases, but now that I own him i simply do not know how to control it anymore 😅

Mine used to do the same. Recently he got ill...tests showed FIV...in a week...opportunistic diseases got hold of him ...we tried everything to save him and lost the battle. He used to go outside at night for 11 years

We live in a tent waiting to get housing. I think he has a taste of freedom and wants more. There's birds, possum, raccoons, foxes, rats, roads, cars trucks, helicopters, horn sounds. It must be driving him bonkers. He has escaped 4 times. Its frustrating at night time as I rearly get any sleep. But come his first nap around 10:30 am. I can then sleep. I love him. Cant imagine my life without him. 🐈

Or you can take them on walks from a young age instead of never taking them outside.

I think my cat thinks that I can control the weather cause when it rains outside he still goes out but still meows and it’s so bad cause the neighbours will be disturbed and he goes out at night so I end up just locking him up in a room with his litter tray food water and bed cause im sick and tired
My cat had not been seen in 54 days. At times it has been -20 outside! Yesterday we find out he dug a hole under the shed and lives under there. He is a Turkish Van, and a real brat.

Mine has a cat wax an outdoor cat and I tamed him and he decided to come in and go out the cat door that was a hear when we moved in.
He is free to come and go . He is beginning to stay inside more. He would not use a litter box inside no matter what we tried.

Bro my cat is literally SCARED of the outside. We thought it’ll be good for him to go out once in a while incase he feels stuffed at home or something and he begun PAWING at the door for us to let him in. Any tips to make him not scared of going outside?
Bruh trust me don’t let him out lol. Once they realize they can go to the bathroom out there they’re going to want too. I never had litter box issues with our cat until he started going outside now I’m dealing with all kinds of nonsense lol.
Don’t let him out without a harness. My cat was afraid as well, ridiculously scared. Now, he cries all day to go outside, like an infant. He’s an adult cat btw. So I let him out on a harness but I still have to be careful cause of the wasps, bees and mosquitoes. He loves to eat the grass as well and it’s not good for him to eat too much. He doesn’t realize how safe he really is so I have to be the responsible one to do it and I hate it sometimes.
Wanted to ask those who tried it, did it work?? Cause we wanted to do this too. If so how effective was it on a scale 1 as Ineffective and 10 most effective. Please reply, this is becoming a big problem for us! 😭

Try giving him boiled chicken No seasoning Nothing but just boiled chicken, They might eat it on an upset stomach thinking it’s something they’re not supposed to eat
