He was also named to two all-star teams in his NBA career and was a valuable shooting guard who could easily put up 15 or more points a game. Although Caron Butler is now a league veteran the road to becoming a successful basketball player was not an easy one for him. I respect him the most. The story was that when ganster wanna-be "Agent 0” pulled a gun, it was him that talked him down. Butler was a real tough guy from the street; and he did so out of necessity to survive. His story is inspirational.
Caron is a cool dude...he always acknowledged you when he saw you and you were cool enough to just say hey to him. Saw him a lot after Wizards games...really nice guy.

Only ever watched one MCI basketball game. I was around 13 and our small town district team had won title and went undefeated. Our coach took us to this game because he said were some really good players. I remember looking at the roster and name Caron Butler I always remembered that. Robert Parish's son played on that same team, I remember he had the widest ass I've ever seen on a player.
