Gaza rescue efforts may stop due to lack of fuel, heavy equipment

- Gaza’s civil defence crew is struggling to reach victims trapped under the rubble of bombed buildings, said a spokesperson for the agency, putting the lives of hundreds of injured Palestinians at risk.
Israeli forces “continue to target and destroy the heavy equipment that helps us recover the victims”, said the spokesperson at a press conference outside Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah.
A severe fuel shortage is further straining rescue efforts, which may soon come to “a total halt”, added the spokesperson.
“As we speak, hundreds of victims remain buried under the rubble and our teams are not able to recover them. These numbers are continuing to rise.”

Just watched your documentary posted nineteen hrs ago in relation to US immigrants in the West Bank. It would be interesting to do a history check on each of these settlers to establish what they had in the US and if they have been subject to criminal charges that they are escaping. Residency in these regions is exceptionally affordable for anyone escaping a criminal justice system. There has got to be a reason for them to move. If they were law abiding citizens in the US and contributed to the economy, there would be no reason for them to resettle unless alternatively it was due to coercion.

It just occurred to me that if, as I've been told via internet posts, one can drive from North to south in Gaza in half an hour were there so many hospitals; the density of population must be stupendous or... They need a lot of medical intervention or...Both.
It is a poor nation. Not many have vehicles. And last I heard Israel has blocked anyone from going from north to south in central Gaza. It is also do to the mass population in the I think 25 miles Gaza Strip. So if you have millions of people in a small area you need more than one hospital.
