Haha I am quite fond of this a.i ...
lol. I was so into his pure excitement.
Thanks for this!
@@GeekPsychology 😂
That makes this video even sweeter
This is just fucking insane. I have a feeling that art and game design are going to have such a creative boom in the coming years. Concept designers for games will have a blast with this. That monolith piece could totally be the theme of a biome in a cool adventure game
Right? I'm glad you see the possibilities. The future will be fun to witness!
What are you talking about? Concept artists had their boom already: this generator is feasting on their corpse. Creative boom?! Creatives will get fired and replaced by noobs generating more and more variations on already existing stuff from the dataset. Are you slow?
@@FutureTechPilot Did not find CapsE user. how to find it and add in midjourney? plz help.
@@manik_karmakar Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone who knows at how find users on the website. I'm sorry. it's a mystery for now haha but you can browse the community pictures on the website and find lots of great artists there!
@@f4ust85 thank you for stating the obvious truth that tech bros pretend is not true
im so hooked to midjourney, ive created a few prompts now that create some truly jaw dropping things everytime. Its fun to change a few words to something else and see what it does.
The rabbit holes are endless haha it can get overwhelming but I'm glad you're having fun!
This is definitely not cheating. Although you don’t need image prompting to get insane images. Try using emojis dude!!! Emojis as your prompts! You’ll be amazed how creative the results are.
There are so many ways to get incredible works on Midjourney besides precise word prompting, scaffolding, sculpting which are ways to get the precise images you’re looking for. Your mind is about to be blown.
Oh and your enthusiasm is so amazing. It’s great watching your channel, for fun, excitement and info as you discover the killer MJ AI Bot.
I so agree with you about the bot being creative and “alive” but DavidH the creator of the MJ Bot, keeps telling us it not. In my opinion the guy is a stone cold genius, no way around it. Live long and prosper DavidH
Hahah I couldn't agree more with some of your points. Especially about David - my channel wouldn't exist without his openness to communicate!
and emojis eh? Thanks for the tip!! Can't wait to try them out. Do you image prompt the emoji or do you just add them to the front of your prompt with weights or something?
I like to experiment. You can try just a single emoji instead of words to see what it gets you. Combining several emojis of yields wildly creative stuff. Just use emojis instead of words. I’ve never tried them as image prompts, just text prompts . I’ve never tried weighting them. That’s probably a great idea to reduce randomness.
If you combine them with text(words) the closer you put them toward the front of your prompt the greater the effect. Or at least that’s been my experience.
Thanks for the tip on combining your MJ generated abstracts as image prompts. Fantastic fun results.
Hey good idea never thought to use emojis lol...will give it a shot
its worth noting that the bot doesnt see the emoji on the api, it just ':fire:' etc when you do an emoji you just sending words still.
@@zoneyx6710 Very interesting! Thanks for pointing that out
Wow you've reinvigorated my midjourney experience, this is a game changer and opens a whole new avenue for creation. It does worry me that you will start to see this type of ai art on mousepads, coffee mugs and T-shirts any second now. It's just too perfect not to exploit!
hahah I know what you mean ... it seems inevitable ... just one of the many things we will have to get used to!
Your excitement in this video is exactly how I feel when I dabble in MidJourney! Awesome stuff!!
I'm so glad you enjoy the tech as much as I do!
Thanks for the comment :)
Thank you for sharing! I started playing Midjourney yesterday and used up all my free credits. Now, after watching your video, I'm considering topping up my Midjourney account since I don't have any credits left to test your code.....
hahah well maybe you can wait just a few more days (or weeks) cause Midjourney is coming out with Version 5 soon! I would suggest waiting for that and then experimenting. I don't know when it will come out, but I know they're trying to release it as soon as possible
I mean you can do this without image prompting. I use image weights, quality and chaos parameters, but glad you are happy about doing this. All love. Sorry if I sounded rude or assholish lol
Haha no worries man, I hear you. I think this is just another rabbit hole for people to go down and I had no idea it was here this whole time! I sucked bad at image prompting and this idea really helped me understand it
According to DavidH in yesterday’s office hours, quality doesn’t work in v 4, so q 2 takes twice as long and costs more but doesn’t add anything.
@@andersdroid I hear you, but I beg to differ. I literally tested q 2 - q 5 and you do see the results. That’s why I use it.
It’s such a simple process but the results are astounding, I might resubscribe and try this.
Cool! Glad you think it's as great as I do haha
Thanks so much for this video! It’s awesome! I just wanted to share that it’s a little different to do this if you only use the mobile version like me.. ***ATTENTION MOBILE USERS!***For mobile users: hold your finger down on the image you just upscaled but don’t open it, a menu will pop up and choose “copy media link” and then you can paste it in the prompt box and type in your prompt.
Yes, exactly! Thank you for pointing that out. I didn't cover it in this video but you're absolutely right.
Also, you should try out one of the new features .. type in /blend and you can choose up to 5 pictures to blend together. You can't add any text to the prompt, so it's not identical to image prompting, but still very cool and easy to use
You legend, I've been trying to figure out how and why people were using image prompts! This just opens up a whole new world of experimentation!
Yesss, enjoy man. That feeling of it finally clicking in your head is magical haha
The final result is honestly the only thing that matters which is why AI art will only progress.
If you showed a mixed room of AI Art haters and lovers some epic images they'd love only IF they knew it was produced by hand only goes to show it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the image and everything to do with the process which in my opinion is someone who unfortunately is very confused.
There's a different kind of beauty in knowing someone has the talent to create amazing images by hand but it's the recognition of how much time and dedication went into developing those skills. Again has nothing to do with the image unless it's a physical canvas with brush strokes and dried paint.
Adapt or get left behind!
This is what I've been looking for forever! All I want to create is hybrid conceptual images. For now I just learned that if you role back to v4 you can get better hybrid images with simpler prompts. Thanks for this Gem!!!
hahaha V4 is amazing! Let me know if you have any cool examples of a hybrid image, I'm curious as to what you're referring to
In a couple years:
Q:What your doing for a living?
A:I’m a image prompt painter!
😂😂
hahah the truth will sound silly
Guys, behind all
of those Art is some human who has dedicated his life learning and developing those skills to create sich art. They get zero commissions. This tools literally steal and you are happy about free art. Congratulations.
It does not steal, it creates something new. But thank you for your comment! It's an interesting conversation and it's going to be an exciting future for the human race. Cheers pal!
@@FutureTechPilot
It is sort of stealing. It uses art of artist to get to those results with out it, it would never been this amazing. And there weren’t any artist given permission for there art work to be used in Ai “to learn”
Go to ArtStation, see how many artist are already protesting.
(Secondly there’s just AI art, that people used/sold, that looks 90% of original art. Which people didn’t knew about lol. So it’s nog right at all atm)
It’s taking everything everyone created though and just changing it with algorithms so technically Rimas is not wrong. My brother and sister think it’s a scam but i think you have to be clever somewhat. I can’t seem to turn certain pictures of people I know into what I want but other pictures work great no sure if I’m missing something or it depends on the quality of the pic + prompts
@@xXLiLHiGsXx Midjourney also isn't that great for turning pictures of people into other things - but it will only get better, I'm sure
I think if you reverse the prompt by putting, say, the joker 1st then the link, it'll do some much different art. Try it.
woah, very cool idea. I'll try it out for sure, thanks!
Love the excitement :) As a visual artist its exactly my feelings as well when working with midjourney! I constantly keep yelling at my girlfriend to come look at what is on my screen. im just like "ARE YOU SEEING THIS!?!" LOL
hahah I'm happy I'm not the only one who can't believe their eyes. This tech is the coolest thing ever and it's fun to share it with others who agree
Same. I get excited and yell for my gf, she's not nearly as impressed or excited 😆
@@chauncysmind haha keep doing you
I'd be curious to see if you could take a selfie and transform it similarly to how you did with the joker
hahah it does not work :( I mean, if I do it, It gives me a bald guy but I promise it is awful and really looks nothing like me lol
maybe one day it will be better though!
This is pretty sick! goin to purchase mid journey after work. Hehe im excited!!

And thank you for the comment! There are a lot of negative people in the world right now and I don't think it's wise to spend time on their opinions lol this tech is wild and I'm glad you enjoy it as much as I do
Sheeshhh, this is as good as u said. The results are amazing, and opens up so many ideas.
hahah I completely agree! Enjoy!!
What's even cooler, is that you can upload an image of yourself and turn yourself into a pixar character or an anime character etc... You can make your self wear anything/ do anything, follow a youtube video tutorial if you don't know how to do it.
Its pretty cool, you should try that out.
Thank you for pointing out that suggestion. I've had the idea to do that but have never gotten around to it for some reason haha but maybe I should reconsider!
Hey, so I've tried this but it always gives me an image of a person with a face similar to mine in terms of build and obvious features (beard, slim jaw etc) but very clearly a completely different person. Is there a trick to getting it to make it actually look like the person in the photo? Thanks!
@@BillySalisbury haha I know what you mean ... I don't know if there is a way to get a 1:1 .. but if you ever come across some good tips, please let me know

Love the enthusiasm! Been messing around with midjourney V4...and just found about image prompting yesterday. Like literally born yesterday in terms of this technique 😆 Its made such a difference to my results
haha learning about new things is so fun with MJ, and I'm happy to share all the possibilities!

It’s the future man! I really curios how websites will look in a couple years when anyone now can get such images.
I think I will prompt some paintings and let them print with a print service and slap it on my walls.
That's a good idea! I'm sure lots of people have already done that too
nice trick, this works decently in stable diffusion too, and you can make it generate the abstract images for you too and then just press the "send to img2img" (assuming automatic1111) on the one you want to make your final image from.
That's awesome! I'm glad a lot of these tricks aren't restricted to a specific platform ... now all Midjourney needs is inpainting and outpainting lol
A picture is literally worth a thousand words or prompts in this case lol. Stable Diffusion allows to adjust the influence percentage wise and I think there are commands to allow midjourney to do the same
That's my favorite saying for sure haha it's so true. And yeah, Midjourney has that option but unfortunately it's not available in Version 4 at the moment. So we can't tweak the weights.
Honestly, any time there is less options, I am kind of relieved lol
This is really very good, thanks. By the way how to add specific text on these images..any idea..
Using photoshop is probably the only way to add text ... or you could try a free website like Canva.com
Is it possible to get some illustrations of your products? For instance if i sell a teddy bear that is homemade, can i upload that picture to get better and cooling looking images for my website?
You can ... KINDA. Like check out this video czcams.com/video/t7b91-fr09A/video.html if you need more help on the image prompting process.
So you would upload a picture of the teddy bear, then write something like, 'illustration of a teddy bear' beside it. and it MIGHT get you what you are looking for.
I can't guarantee the results because a.i isn't simple but I think you'll have a good chance at creating something close to what you are thinking of.
Good luck! Hope that helps
Best Midjourney video of 2022! By a stretch!
hahah well thanks a lot!
Cheers :)
u should almost consider keeping this low key because once this gets out, man everybodys art is gonna be lit!
hahah it's only a matter of time eh? The world is going to be a crazy place before we know it
I need to add, I dont agree with all the uproar against AI art. First, I would hang so many of these on my wall, and now u can even make your posters to get the exact thing you want on your wall, and more. Second, it totally takes creativity to produce these images, especially on our part. You need to figure out ways to spit out what you're looking to create, figure out what prompts you'll use and test out different options, and more. In the end, if you can generate things that people love, it never matters where they came from, just that there's a market for them.
I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts! Lots of people speak emotionally about a.i art and I can understand why ... but I agree with your points about the most creative people will always make the best art, and how in the end, it doesn't really matter (to most people) how something was made
@FutureTechPilot I think the thing that helped me realize how tech will change views over time, comes from my years DJing in NYC. I was the first local DJ in NY, outside of the famous Jonathan Peter's, to use a computer to DJ. This was before the tech got to a point that allowed for mass adoption. I decided to switch to djing with Ableton around 2007, and it came with a lot of heat. Countless people tried to tell me that I wasn't a real DJ, yada yada. I knew how to DJ with cdjs, and started with turntables when I was 14, but that seemed to not matter. I didn't pay the haters any mind though, because what I was able to do with Ableton, far surpassed what anyone else was doing, and the crowds were there for it. About 1/2 years after I made the switch, you started to see the wave that is DJ software taking over more and more of the industry, and here we are today, where you'll see more people using it than not, and it's accepted. I believe AI in the creative space will be the exact same thing. Because of this, there will be people who start implementing it now, and those who will reject it. But, down the road, the people who already have it mastered will be light-years ahead of those who turned away from it.
@@MisfitsGuideToTheGalaxy That's a really cool story and it points out how people with experience will have the most clear vision of the future!
Thank you so much for sharing this!
enjoy the super power!!
i always use image prompting, from the beginning, to get my template for the composition. AI is more creative than humans when it comes to combining styles like this.
The fact that a.i seemingly has no limit to its creativity is the most mind-blowing part of it
This is great! It can be frustrating trying to get mj to bend to our whims so this makes it fun again. Thanks for sharing!
haha I know what you mean - you kinda just have to go with the flow. And thanks for the comment!
So you use the actual poster design showing the poster frame as the source image and get results like this? or do you re-do it without the poster prompt?
I include poster in my prompt usually but you can also include '--no mockup' in your prompt and it will do a good job of removing the frame. czcams.com/video/t7b91-fr09A/video.html You can check out that video to see how I made the images more closely.
Hope that helps!
Great video! I get excited like that too. Thanks so much. Love those results, so clean!

Or is the "cheat code" creating an abstract image and using it as a img2img part of your text prompt on whatever you like?
I also tried to reach the capsE user, but I didn't manage to get to him. Could you help me, please?
You're exactly right, the point is to generate abstract images and then use them in your image prompt.
I called it a cheat code cause CapsE referred to it as that when he explained it. And I don't know them personally so there is no way I can connect you to them. I'm sorry.
But if you hang around on some of the discord channels, you might run into them! (That's not very helpful advice but it's the only thing that might work lol)

Well I'm glad you found the video useful, and I think writing down your prompts and making note of your favorites is a great way to experience the evolution of a.i

This is too cool, thanks man! Any idea if the subject can be another image/photo of say, a real person or something? How could that be prompted using what you’ve shared in this video?
You could absolutely use a second image! I just tried it out to make sure ... and the results are interesting haha I think it works as well as you could hope.
And you would do it by simply uploading the picture you want to discord and then click on it and hit 'copy image address' - same way you do it for the abstract image. Copy and paste both image addresses into a prompt and hit enter. Pretty simple!
@@FutureTechPilot haha, awesome man thanks, trying this out shortly. Stay creative!
I'm trying to upload my logo and just change it's background but it keeps changing my logo as well. Can you help me?
I'm sorry, it's not going to work. You're waaaaay better off using something like Photoshop. Best of luck man!
Bro! Use this prompt to make the abstract: surreal fantasy abstract in infographic style without text, maximum texture --no text ••• Then use the results as image prompts for subjects ••• you will thank me later 😂😂
YAAAH. Thanks so much for the suggestion. Can't wait to try it out. I appreciate it a bunch!
I just tried it out ... damn man, thank you. I'll have to show this off in a video soon. Thanks again haha
@@FutureTechPilot I’ll be excited about a video of what you makes with those abstract… subscribed… 😁
@@goofysloth haha they're unreal man. Such a sick prompt. You're the best
Nice prompt! Thanks for sharing 😊
