Philipsburg, Sint Maarten | Trail & Sea Horseback Ride Shore Excursion - Full Tour (with captions)

We're back in Philipsburg, which is on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. To avoid any confusion, the French side is Saint Martin, but yes, they are part of the same Caribbean island.
With that cleared up, we're embarking on a new shore excursion this morning. The "Trail & Sea Horseback Ride" tour from Royal Caribbean takes new and experienced riders on a guided horseback tour through Philipsburg's natural landscapes.
The trail is a rocky, winding route up the mountains offering spectacular views and panoramic ocean vistas. It ends with a stroll along the beach and through the ocean for a cooling dip. And if you have no experience, don't worry. The horses are mellow and easy to handle.
The whole experience is about 3 hours long, with only about an hour dedicated to riding. That said, there is a strict weight limit of 200 pounds for this tour, and you will be weighed before boarding the shuttle bus. Barring that, it's a breathtaking trek through a spectacular area.
