NOTES:
- The beginning of the piece was the first thing that was made. I sent sheddythis beginning idea with the triplet arp and the DM 1 melody, and he designed the gross beat glitch thing afterward. The section was supposed to symbolize the first encounter with DM, before the battle begins.
- The big, bad sound effect at 0:55 is the sound effect from the game where Dark Matter cries. Get ready, it's coming!
- The riff in the DnB drop is the theme from "A Warning to All Pokemon", so being a warning, we used a tornado siren sound to really sell the alarm. The fight with Dark Matter gets under way!
- At 2:01, I got a bit inspired by songs like "Night of Nights" and made a crash build.
- In the breakdown, I pulled out full experimental mode. This was the most sfx heavy part of the piece, and every sound effect heard in those 8 measures are different. It represents the rebirth of Dark Matter and the near complete loss of hope.
- The drums at 2:31 were made by taking a crazy 140 BPM drum loop and chopping it up in Slicex. The result sounded really nice and dark, especially with the F#aug chord behind it!
- Ending the section at 2:48 is a sound created by chopping up Dark Matter's own voice sound effect in the game!
- This first piano section was one of the last things made in the song, so I had to figure out how to write something that would loop an extremely dark drum break to a more upbeat melodic drop. And I did that with some firey ambience and a nice distant chime.
- BASS! CRASH! BAM-BAAAAAAAAAM!!
- The melodic drop at 3:33 was the first part sheddywrote. To be honest, sheddywrote most of the piece - my additions were mostly adding some riffs, references, and darkness. For example, I added all the SFX breaks in this drop. This part represents the second battle, with the Tree of Life revived!
- The transitional section at 4:14 reuses the synth from the dark breakdown extremely nicely. I love how this part turned out!
- The drop at 4:30 is where sheddy first decided to add electric guitars to the piece. He first wrote this section and then went back and added the power to the DM 1 DnB part afterward.
- The drums in the final bridge at 5:22 were made by chopping up a drum loop and putting it in Slicex. This one was a bit more creative, though, as the riff itself I wrote.
- The piano thing at the end was written by me and jazzed up by sheddy. He did a good job! - Hudba

This song is just what I needed. I am finishing school this week and many emotions are hitting me. The nostalgia is real.
The song itself captures my years perfectly. In the beginning, it starts slow, just like we did - in high school, when you don't know anyone and anything. It sounds mysterious, just like the atmosphere in school was. Then, as you slowly begin to make relationships with your classmates - it gets intense, because it's so interesting and exciting. It rushes you with energy. It continues going, your mutual interest grows, but then there's the summer break - a time where you are separated and you don't maintain contact.
The song resembles that as it gets slower. But, like everything - it comes to an end. The summer break is almost over - another school year is about to begin. That's when the song changes the tone again - into a more happy, engaging and exciting mood.
You begin the process again - strenghtening your relationship further. That keeps going, and going, until...
You realise it's the last school year and that those 5 years have passed already. There isn't much time left. The end is approaching, and since 4 years are gone, the last one will fly by even faster. And so the song becomes slower, resembling the surreal position that you are in. Nobody knows how you got to the end so fast. It feels like you met all of these people not two days ago. You realise you will never get those moments back, and the class will never meet in the same way it has been doing via school.
At the end of the song there are a few notes with an upbringing tone, however. Reminding you that all of this has been worth it and the positive emotion will prevail.

The lack of remixes of dark matter and bittercold's themes compared to the amount of remixes made for primal dialga is astounding, so I appreciate you guys' effort on this!!

This song told me a story. A child with a mental disability starts his first years of their life in innocence, they make friends, and they have a lot of fun in their first school. But as they begin to move into late middle school/high school. Many people, including their friends begin to make fun of them as portrayed at: 0:51 . The child tries to fight back the bullying, but their own thoughts begin to swallow them. The child can't take it anymore. They try and run away. (1:07 - 1:39) The bass signifies the darkness and their internal feelings chasing after them. 2:08 signifies the child beginning to tire out as they are lost in a dark forest. The song glitches again to show the child fighting their own feelings and the child is almost brought to suicide. But at 2:50, the child climbs the mountain, and is about to jump.... (3:07)The music box-like instrument is another hallucination but it tells the child it's all going to be okay and that they're worth more than they think they are.The child realizes that they've abandoned everyone that they cared for and resolves their own issues. (4:11) The child rushes home to be held tightly by their parents.4:34 - The student decides to try their absolute hardest in school and to get good grades and to surpass everyone. At 5:13, the child, now grown to become the valedictorian for their school, tells a speech about how they struggled with their problems when they were younger and tells everyone that no matter how much they tell themselves they are insignificant, they will always succeed. Everyone cheers, and the child feels overwhelmed with happiness.5:38 - Now at the age of 90, the old person feels their life will be over soon, resting in their hospital room, they see a picture of their parents and friends around the child that was once lost in their journey. 6:15 - As their life comes to a close, the old person closes their eyes for the very last time, and breathes out "Thank you..."Thank you if you've made it this far through this comment. I actually first heard this song in Geometry Dash, and I thought the music box melody sounded extremely similar to PMD, and now I learn that it is from PMD! I really like this song because PSMD is one of my favorite games of all time, and this song is probably one of the best remakes of a PMD song I have ever heard.

The ending of this song gets to me. It reminds me of how far I've come in my life. It makes me remember when I made a group of friends for a competition the most. At first, we weren't quite sure if we would be great friends. But as time moved on, we became one of the greatest group of friends, so much that our school friends wanted in, but our bond was too great to change it. The girls in the team even helped me when I had depression, and hung out with me all the time to help me out of it. But then things happend. One guy stopped coming due to a busy schedule. One girl who I almost dated (before something personal happend that split us, but we are still friends) moved away for a dance team and bad home circumstances. Our team still goes on today, however, and it remains the best friends I have ever had. I love them all for who they are. The end of this song makes me think of all of us together, watching the sun fade out, our arms around each other. The rest of the song is just what I described : us meeting, becoming friends, then people starting to move from us. But towards the end, we start to redeem ourselves and stay together. And the end tells me that all of us, no matter what, made a difference in each others lives. If you are reading this, thank you. Remember that you are a great person and people care for you. I encourage everyone to find a group of friends and experience what we did, as it is not one you will regret.... The End

I don't think lot of people even play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. The pokemon mystery dungeon games are also super super super super long and the gameplay can be really bad in some places. The games are great but there are not a lot of people who play it and some people who play it just really hate the gameplay.

This is actually one of the best PMSD remixes I've ever heard! The Dark Matter fights have some of my favorite themes from any of the Pokémon games and this PERFECLY encapsulated the epicness behind the theme, the battle, and the story of the dark matter fights and the story of the game. Well freaking done guys!

This song sounds like a personal life journey of redemption.
The beginning of the song is like peaceful and serene like you’re enjoying your life then it transitions to a hectic part full of chaos around (0:56)like you’re being crazy or you’re on something but you continue to go back to it over and over.Somewhere around (2:16) the hectic energy turns into something sinister,twisted and full of despair like something is wrong with your body and it affects you mentally and physically. After the twisted nature (2:50) were greeted into calm rain and thunder just like we’ve been through something terrible with pains and wounds and then we calm down but it still hurts.But then around (3:14), we’re starting to feel a sense of hope after reflecting on the pain and despair that was afflicted upon us and finding a way to overcome that to feel good once again. Around (3:39) you start improving on yourself, it could be mentally,physically,financially etc. Around (4:34) your putting in the work,pain,time,and effort, you feel more of a better person and you feel that you can keep going. You keep going harder than ever(4:53) with consistency, joy,and optimism as some time passes. Now around this time(5:13) you look better and feel better and you reflect on your work and progress, but you feel that it is not over and that you still have things to improve on,so you get back work. After all the work, pain and suffering(5:39) the time has finally come. You’re a whole new person with a new mind,body,strength,and spirit. You thought about the way you were at first and all the time and effort to be sharper now. You came a long way and your family and friends praise you. Now you stare off into the horizon then you question(6:10), “what if I didn’t make a change how would my life be now?”But you already know the answer and just stare back at the sunset with confidence.(6:16)

The least place I was expecting to cry was in GD. But this piece of art exists, so...
Seriously, incredible work showcasing all the harray of feelings that at least I feel when I think about PSMD. It truly has changed my life, to the point that I've got my own universe based around it, and it's 6 years old (yes, I've been counting them). The final part with the sneaky original pmd leigmotif felt like a hammer, specially considering I have special lore with pmd1 and pmde. Really, everything in this traks fits, every single note. From the initial build-up that is climbing the tree of life, the dark matter phase one of pure chaos, the reborn with the loss of hopes, and then god that partner's theme... that was what got me crying. I just didn't expect it. And it's true, the partner is who inspires the player to keep going, even if it seems impossible. Then love how pmd1 sound effects are used in the track, and then, the final burst, with the partner's theme merged in. Because you two are in this together. And the way that this track shows all of this is just... wow... And even the tiny emotional part of memories in the middle of the end. And the piano section in the end is sublime, I just have no words.

Y'know this is what I love about remixes especially after reading the video's description. This clearly took days, maybe months to make and the creators definitely looked at the game and the story and the way the music is presented just makes it all seem so GAHH! I can't even get myself to think of the right word. Just know that this was amazingly composed and deserves to be heard by the people who made the game and/or it's music (if that hasn't already happened at least) Good Job
I may have found this from Dark Odyssey, but this song is so incredibly beautiful, it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites. It has so many diverse parts, from an intense bossfight to something you might here inside of a rainbow. The song as a whole is just great, incredible job.
