Good solution on the filters. With open stacks you have to at the very least have screens like the old Ferraris had, and they are no protection against dust. Thanks for the update.
Ouch! That's a lot of money for some tiny bits. I think I'd pull those foam covers off at the car show and show off those awesome horns! The intake noise is bad ass!
Nice look and sound -- so the $6.00 parts needed a "Field Adjustment" crazy how much the little things for the carb. cost...run into the same thing on my big aftermartket carbs for my vw..
Hey man, love your uploads, Question: On your TR6, did you make or buy the heat shields on the engine side of the bonnet? If bought, please tell me where, if made, please tell me what you used.. They look great! Tim
Those look and sound great Dave. On another note, what kind of shocks do you have on your TR6? I still have the original factory shocks but they are shot. I was looking at the Konis in the Moss catalog but my God they are expensive. I found the same shock at Summit Racing for $190 for the pair with free shipping. At that price I cant go wrong. Keep up the good work: Jerry
HI Jerry, I assume that you are talking about the front shocks for the TR6. I have Konis on mine and like them. If I had to do it again though, I would probably go with the SPAX ones as they are externally adjustable. If you want to adjust the Konis, you need to take them off the car. Cheers, Tush
Did you ever find out that the ram tube tabs wont go on with the tubes all the way in? Yes you did. The tube is tapered so you have to have the tube stop lip in line with the end of the bolts and then slide the tabs on the bolts. Then slide the tube and the tabs in at the same time... no die grinding, it's a neat fit. Depending on the clearance to the engine bay, some tubes need to be fitted to the carby first before you fit the carby to the manifold. So choice your ram tubes carefully.
Great music on your radio, great carbs great car. Nice evening!

Lovely set of Webers Dave. Always wanted a set on my Dolomite Sprint many years ago.
