Yes... I'm here to learn how to be empathetic because she says I'm not empathetic... I didn't know I wasn't, now I'm learning. Maybe be too late, but I'm trying. Fk
Thank you! So helpful specifically how to actively listen and more importantly respond in a non matter of fact way. I will do this in my next conversation.
I can understand a person's feelings I guess we're I go wrong is my mind just isn't mature enough to be empathetic towards a person without cringing/corny I guess I just have grow up
Ok I think I’m getting better…my partner is opening up. He texted I’ve been falling short as a man (in my mind damn right), but I know I shouldn’t respond that way 😅, so I’m here trying to formulate a response
HI Suzy! Great question. Using warm and open body language i.e., smiling, openly sweeping hand gestures, hugs (!), leaning into the conversation, nodding, triple nods are some great ways to leverage body language to show empathy :) Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes. Happy Explearning ⚡

Could this be why a a lot of women who are in or have been in heterosexual relationships are leaving those relationships to bisexual partnerships. A lot of men in my experience lack empathy it’s a part of being masculine. A lot of heterosexual men who had strong masculine influence growing up might be more prone to a lack of empathy. As women we need more empathy especially after life changing events suck as motherhood. Motherhood is so isolating in itself we look to our partner to feeling our emotions with us so we dont feel so alone through that phase of life. I believe this is why alot of these heterosexual relationships terminate after children.
@C. Haze all humans are capable of empathy. Lack of empathy is a mostly a result of environment. Men aren't inherently lacking in empathy because of one chromosome. Your logic operates on the fact that your brain is smooth
I think you need a full playlist on empathy as CZcams is lacking and a lot of ppl are looking into improving this. 1. Are we born with empathy, so many articles on Google on this with a yes and no answer would like a video on this 2. What if we don’t relate to the persons feeling and we actually think they are overreacting then how can we validate their feelings 3. What if their feelings are weighing us down. Ppl feelings can also affect others 4. Is it ok to fake empathy? 5. How to teach kids to empathetic?
@@ExplearningCo 1. Negative side effects of empathy. 2. Who do we label as empath, I don’t get those CZcams videos on who is an empath what does this imply - sounds like some superpower. 3. Can one give constructive criticism when being empathic. 4. The relationship between the love language words of affirmation and empathy. 5. Im 30 and just realize I lack empathy but I always felt something was off or missing about me, is lack of empathy a mental illness - I think many of us want to know this like are we partially autistic or suffer from something else? What could we possibly be suffering from. Y do I lack empathy ?
Thank you immensely. I have a friend who is going through a very hard time and I want to convey empathy to bond with them instead of isolate them.
Hi Merlissa, sorry to hear that. They're lucky to have a friend like you :)

Amazing video

The black swan method
Your words carry more weight when it is clear you have invested in your own body, that it is toned.
resist the urge to judge
I guess I struggle with empathy because to me it comes across as patronizing. 😐
Can you do more video empathy?
