Here's the thing. We weren't depressed without a phone. We were better off. All thise friends jumping around for your birthday don't actually come over to celebrate with you. They stay home and give you a 5 min phone party with your other at home, long distance friends. There is no actual physical contact nowadays. It's not better. It's worse. It's just that you get instant gratification with the phone without any effort. It's a very shallow and meaningless existence but it's easier and most people are lazy. No actual human connections are made.

This is a perfect example of the way Parents should react to their children when they start to show interest in exploring some form of creative arts ROLE MODEL PARENTING going on here in its finest form.
I don't think it's Role Model parenting, I've always liked NIN but these kids were very likely introduced to this and in my opinion its psychologically negative and destructive at their age.

58 years young NIN fan here (all time favorite band) and l love the fact that the O'Keefe Music School exposes young kids to some of the most creative bands that ever existed. Another favorite is there version of Tool's 46 and 2...amazing!

The level of commitment by everyone in this video is phenomenal! Turning this song into a video about a birthday wish was a stroke of genius. Having Street Fighter 2 being played in the background is just another bonus. There is so much genuine talent in this video, it's remarkable, and this was a truly great one!
