Been watching for a while now and wanted to say thanks for always inspiring us to keep on working towards our dreams
thanks so much!
Namanh, you are a treasure. Hope to get my interview prep to another level so I can move from a Consulting Dev to Back-end and Design. Keep up the great work!
shoot you're already at 100k, crazy growth and very well deserved. keep the great videos coming!
You’re channell started me on my coding journey and is a gem among youtubers. Thanks Namanh!
Just amazed how smoothly you explain all the things.🙏
I recently developed a desire for backend dev. I'm glad you've explained it as simply as possible. Also, I expected your voice to be deeper for some reason, but I love it.
good luck!
This is what I'm looking for my my backend progress, enhancing skills as backend developer. Really appreciated to impart this kind of stuffs for the beginners. TYSM man!!!
thanks for watching!
BE is super hard to learn. FE is a lot easier.
Loving the positive vibe that you naturally keep setting off in your videos 🙌🏻
Hey I just really want to thank you I'm in the process of a career change and your videos are very helpful don't stop giving great advice.
Your vids keep me going as a beginner dev. Great work Man
thanks for watching!
Ngl i was searching for a backend development video. Thanks man!!✨
Dude your videos are great man! Keep up the great work.
Currently, frontend developer, working react and flutter. God frontend feels like everchanging landscape where every 2 month you should adjust your standing or you'll fall. I want stability at this point of life
Pls explain ur comment
How do you mean?
Dont use Gods name in vain pleasee :((
Why lmao, stop jumping from framework to framework or find a stable job.
How long you been working on the frontend ?
Heads up for anyone purchasing Angela's course - it's pretty out of date at this point, everything refers to 2020 tech, but it's still a great course. I'm redoing my backend learning with it, but you'll have to figure out how to handle certain things on your own, because the videos won't show the right solutions. It's fine tho, and good practice.
Your videos are extremely helpful. Easily one of the best channels on CZcams when it comes to programming as a whole.
so honored! thanks for being a part of my youtube journey!
Been wondering where you went. Happy to see you’re back.
happy to see you here too!
You explained this beautifully.
Amazing Video!. If you can, please make a full stack guide! Thanks
"Understand application, not theory". Great advice!
In my first semester of CS & Java is hell. Could you possibly do a video about the things you had to sacrifice while in school, or while working at a job?
Awesome bro... what you said in this video it totally true and l agreed with you 100%...
Thank you so much for this!
You're killing it with the content! Fellow Houston/SWE/CZcamsr here 😅
let’s gooooo htown
Great content, very informative and helpful.
thanks for watching!
You are killin' it Namanh !❤

Hello! Your videos are super helpful and interesting! Please make a video on Tata Steel TomorrowLab which has both idea and design challenges. Will be very helpful to understand and participate
I would love a system design video in the future :)
the video I was looking for, thx 😌
woooooo
In full darkness around me. Your video pop out on my feed as ray of Hope ❤❤❤
Hey Namanh,
Great vedio as usual.
Can u make a vedio on where to find backend developer jobs with decent pay for freshers .
Remote is also great.
As someone who is from biology background still aspires to be a backend developer built 3 projects and working on Data structures and algo .
It will be great to hear from u.
Please do consider the request .
Thank you
Fantastic video as always!
thanks for supporting!
Hey Namanh, can you make a video on your thoughts about the meta frontend and backend certificates?
great video.
What do you think of laravel As a backend framework ?
love your channel 😃
You have greate video with contect ,,have you anything about machine learning or data science ,path how to get job fast ?
Thank you for advanced
This video is awesome 💙
thanks!
I've recently started learning Python and found your videos. I'm a subscriber but I'm not able to follow everything you mention. I'm interested in learning full stack. I have a project already planned to recreate an existing old web app written in Perl. that has a MySQL backend. It works but is outdated and not too secure by today's standards.
Can you provide a single detailed roadmap I can use? I don't need tons of options, just one solid roadmap that helps me create a prototype I can demo for a client.
Your content helps me a lot 😉😘❤️❤️🌱🧘 thanks.... 🚀
Question? Why do many recommend Python for the back end when most industries require Java, C#, PHP or even Ruby? Python is rarely posted on indeed for what employers are looking for and I live in the largest city in the world. I mostly see Python job posting listed in three categories, Data Science, DevOps and finally as a secondary or third language to complement another technology. I ask merely out of curiosity, not out of a need to debate or prove a point like some do but for the sole purpose to gain a better understanding from experienced people, thank you once again for the video.
Python is easy to pick up, once you know the basics it's easy to translate these skills to other languages
you must not live in a hot market if php , or ruby are being used lmaoooo i lve in a top 10 market for tech and i never see any jobs looking for either of those especially php which is terrible btw lol
@@zhangliyi I live in New York City and it’s true I myself see few jobs with PHP. But when you google PHP it says 77.8% of all sites run on PHP. Which is why I posted this question.
Also, I don’t see Python back end jobs being posted, they are mostly Java.
@@pramod7426 I guess you have a point. Facebook created the Meta Professional backend course and the entire course is taught in Python and I am assuming with D’Jango.
@@DevlogBill Java and PHP are relevant because of legacy code written long ago by big techs when these two were the best technologies. C# is used by banks and enterprise (similarities to Java -- most of bank and enterprise code is years behind the current tech standard). Ruby despite being great is dead due to bad support for ML libraries. Django is mostly used by small to medium start ups (same with JS). Go is also a great option and rising fast.
about Python backend -- CZcams, Instagram, Netflix, Spotify, etc use it for backend idk why are you not finding django job postings. I am from India and tech companies here are stuck in a decade ago more than 70% using Java, still I see lots and lots of Django postings here (3rd highest after Java, C# for backend roles).
What laptop do you recommend for beginners? Or what specs do you recommend? Thanks for the videos and information.
Any laptop unless your writing something extremely large and complex. Something with a good amount of storage is preferred
From that photo cover of the video i can 😂 tell u r a true backend programmer
I only have 1 question cause I know I'm completely lost but I'm learning and sometimes it's difficult to just have and follow one path, but, this is my gap: If I have a design in Figma for an app, where do I connect that to make it work?
Cause I had seen a lot of videos of work flow but then you have other of backend and if you just want to make an app without XCode or Android Studio it´s crazy the amount of things you have to do and know to make it true, and I don´t know where to start.
You know your stuff!
wow, neven seen someone to sneak into the video so many ads so smoothly. Shit was informative tho.
I am stuck at middle of Angela Yu's course, finding the MERN stack preety difficult and thinking of changing to Python/Django . Can you guide me on this, what would be more helpful in this situation ?
You could do that.
Im a highscool graduate only can I still learn and get a job with this?
Hey namanh, what's about SDET backend ? My job for now is QA but I want to be SDET
I want to learn backend developer and have a preference for Python. Is it worth also learning C++?
fantastic 😍😍
Actually I'm a front end developer and now I'm learning back-end development to be a fullstack but i heard some people say that they don't hire fullstack devps the most of the time!
What do you think?
U are smart bro appreciate u
appreciate you too
BACKEND is TOUGH ,it requires a tough mind man, be prepared to work 20 hours a day lol.
It's fun though 😊
Well golang is a wonderful programming language to recommend.
As a Chemical Engineer looking to switch to Software engineering, this video saved my life. The engaging way you printed out the concepts made me realize Backend Development is what I want. Thanks a lot, @Namanh! Your channel is fantastic. I referred your videos to my friends.
Why don’t you like chemical engineering? I want to make the switch but the other way around haha
Why do i feel the same way having also studied ChemE😂
@@ggg-ox3hr just learn how to code and apply for a job in ChE domain
I am an HVAC engineer and this is boring as it can be. You are tied up to a specific place, you can't work remote, you have to be part of a group of people with physical interaction all the time and the problems you have to solve are usually stupid (because you don't solve real problems, you create some fake marketed stuff and make it look like it's something good).. I guess the chem is something like that.. tied up to a lab..
Thank you very much for your videos, I appreciate the energy you put into your videos. your videos give a way to my learning
I get the idea about something being easy, but does that really serve a purpose? My question would be, isn't more important to define your end goal? Because once you define your end goal then your able to make a better informed decision. For example if you want to become a mobile developer. Yes you could learn Python. But can you make mobile apps with Python? Yes you probably could. But does the industry use Python for making mobile app? Do you see where I am getting at? I think this is bad advice only for those who are trying to become professional developers. Yes you can learn your fundamentals with Python but you can also learn your fundamentals with Kotlin or Swift as well or even JavaScript for web. These other languages aren't that bad for beginners.
I just think people fail to understand why they want to learn something versus just to learn.
u r so right, I think nowdays with new technologies and free stuff it's possible to get that job just in 6 months, u just need to be focuces only the things that r gonna be used in that current job.
You're the man Russell Brand!
what about nextjs instead of nodejs
What about FASTAPI for Backend?
is it a good idea to learn video game programing at a university?
No
Is Backend Web Developer And Back End Software Developer Same ?
Damn..thanks sir
Hello Namanh, any interest in a fan meetup? I live in Htown as well. You've inspired me to get into programming, even though I'm older.
maybe soon!
long live to trpc and server functions
Nice 🎉🎉🎉
Your video editior is from india and he is young. tell me how young?
Hlo sir i am mechanical engineer some of them saying that by your degree you can not able to go to IT field industry many companies require only an IT , CSE degree students its that true sir
node or express ? its like they are different thing or you can build a full backend without express !!!
You can but it's a lot more work
Great content but a little disappointed that your recs are node(not a backend language) and python. While those are probably most straightforward backend dev usually isn’t straightforward. No mention of oops or solution layers really feels like you left out the less glamorous parts of backend dev.
Node is not a backend framework. It's a JavaScript runtime.
oops yes i meant express is the backend framework you should use with node
How if a beginner starts with java or kotlin language? Please reply.
Why on WhatsApp?
PLEASE ANSWER HERE.
@@AlMamun-yg3ct don’t contact them. They’re scammers
@@johnboy6799 This is what I have already understood by their attitude, Anyway Thank You so much for awaring me.
Why not Java and springboot?
i think they’re a little old school
Previous thumbnail is more better than that 😭
thanks for the feedback!
So weird that there is a front and back end....I come form a generation where it's just development and you do both. At the same time.
How to become full stack developer
After graduation to any stream Please tell in the simple way.
coming soon!
isnt the web development course of Dr Angela Yu outdated already?
backend is always changing but i think the core ideas still remain, it’s a good beginner introduction for sure
@@namanhkapur thanks for your input. i will check the course now..
@@monkeystylle She marks her courses as being updated ; currently the course in question is marked as having been updated in may of 2022.... ;-)
Why not java and springboot?
that works too, but i think it's a little bit more old-school, the "in" these days is definitely javascript frameworks
@@namanhkapur thank u so much for this amazing vedio❤
@@namanhkapurthanks bro. I always fight with java lovers. Their language is old they should face this reality.
@@namanhkapur u have to be kidding me JA and Py are badly scaled hence big enterprises (Morgan Stanley JP Morgan, Microsoft ..etc) use Java, C# and lately we see more and more Go
@@ko-Daegu instagram, youtube, netflix, spotify, etc use django for backend I guess they are small apps with no significant userbase, right. Man java fanboys are annoying. JPM, Morgan stanley, GS, etc use Java bcoz these are known to run old tech since their legacy code is written in Java more than a decade ago when java was still relevant. Why would anyone today touch Java which C# is infinitely better. Atleast do your research, or keep rewriting legacy code in Java thinking why programming job isnt fun.
unless your going for faang companies learning data structures and algo is useless and wrong info.. learn the backend and its concepts, make sure you can explain any question they ask about it..
Recommend the free course for both front and back end web dev. Most of the people looking for free course, learn and to get a job . Reply to this query

Off topic... You've got great hair 😂
Which language should I learn for backend C# or Python ?
for beginners i’d say python
@@namanhkapur and what for not beginners ? I used c++, java, c#, js before but not in details so I'm not starting.
@@oabouassy Depends on what you want to accomplish. For data science/ML or simple web apps, then use python.
I'm still mad, just wanted to point that out

But believe me angelia yu course is pretty basic you don't even learn core backend Fundamentals
I don't want to be a Backend developer
I just came here to say you look like Anwar Jibawi with long hair
lol
let’s goooooo
Are u Indian??
7:40 This like the worst advice ever
How are you a back end eng if you didn’t build the backend at all
No Authentication or Authorization
No ORM at least for DB conn.
Didn’t build your own API
At this point why are you even hired then???
There are other issues sure but you are still learning are you not gonna pick any of them ???
Is knowing syntax of a framework became the goal these days ?,?
i think it’s terrible advice to build your own authentication layer, that’s so risky - it’s important to understand these ideas but to use the best-in-class existing systems - being a backend developer is all about learning these technologies and then using them, not about building them from scratch
the clout and clickbait nowadays are ridiculous. the "fastest" way... lulz...
good L: )
You have that much knowledge and you decided to be a backend dev 😑 ?
Hello Namanh, I have been following you on youtube for long time and really learning from it. The Content is amazing. But I noticed that you'r very inconsistent on YTB and didn't found on IG and FB.
