    Hi Megan, I too had decided to change from disposable pads to cloth ones. It is indeed a game-changer aside from my cramps that doesn't hurt much anymore it saves me hundreds of dollars from monthly expenses.

    Yes! I switched over 3 years ago and would never go back. I tell all the women I know how great cloth pads are. I’m stealing your line, no chemicals on your hooha! 😃

    I switched to cloth pads two cycles ago and I am SO happy that I did! They are so comfortable and absorbent! I was very skeptical about leaks as I have a very heavy flow for two days! The heavy size in the pack I got covered me for 5 hours! And it did not leak, I just felt it was full and needed to change! A disposable would’ve lasted me an hour! I do wear tampons but my last two cycles I have only worn one or two tampons! I wish I could use a cup but it never works out! I def recommend cloth pads for anyone thinking about switching!

    Ive used cloth pads for about 7 years and will never go back! The ones i originally got are still going strong. My favorite ones are New Moon Pads. Im a bigger girl and i find the incontinence pads give the best coverage for my body type

    How would you suggest cleaning them and drying if you will have to reuse within your monthly cycle.

      I usually just throw them in the washer and dryer with my other clothes, they come out clean and it's nice and fast. I used to hand wash and hang to dry but have since stopped now that I have more children and less time ;) haha

    I think reuseable silicone menstrual cups and disc's (the june cup company is really good) are nice but I think for me I'd only need those for if I wanna go swimming or have sex but if I'm being honest when I'm on my period I don't wanna do either of those plus having something up there seems like a Hassel, so I've always been a pad girl, it just seems easier to just put it on my underwear and go on about my day plus it seems more hygienic cause again I don't have anything up there, so if I could find some good cloth pads along with period underwear then that would be ideal!

    • @WilsonHomestead
      @WilsonHomestead  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes same here! I think pads are so much more convenient, and comfortable! I'm not the hugest fan of the menstrual cups ;)
