That's basic care for your significant other. It's downright sad that men get praise for it when they do it. All it does is remind me how low the bar is for them. They need to do better and we need to stop treating every nice small thing they do like they just cured a disease.

Here in Italy the main theory is: man can see any difference of shade, as far as the two colors were both used sometimes on a soccer/football team.

I have a strange amount of lipsticks that were gifted to me, but very little of anything else.
Saf, you can revive broken powders/eyeshadows/blushes etc by breaking them up more into dust, putting rubbing alcohol in them and pressing them down with a spoon. I've tried it and it works.
I wish I'd knew this earlier.. my poor contour broke after 3 days and I threw it out
@@izzwhiz1767 noo 😭 when something breaks, usually Google comes to the rescue! I literally Google anything I don't know how to do or if it can be done. It's not always 100% right but it's a great help! Hope next time you can save your things!

I’ve often thought that if we have to throw it out so soon, they should be a lot smaller, and therefore cheaper.
@@christinamann3640If it's smaller, then the packaging:product ratio is worse for profits. However, as someone who rarely uses makeup, I would absolutely love to buy makeup at like a third of the standard size.
I have one lipstick. I uae it up then I buy a new one. Nothing ever expires. Still, I love the idea of having enough space to have a drawer full of make up!

Now, how did I get this stuff?
I was shopping with a friend (I dislike shopping, but I like foodcourts and shops where a funny machine makes orange juice, and I needed something fancy for a celebration thing, so I agreed to come) and we were in this makeup shop. My friend had like 10 shades of berry on her hand, and she asked me wich one I liked. They all looked the same to me, so I just dabbed my finger at her hand and Said „that one“. She told me I should buy it too, my makeup was „sooo dull“.
So that’s how I aquiered my only not brown make up article.

missbeans i did it for my gel nail polishes, I just made a small circular drop of hot glue in an old plastic card, painted the little drop with the polish and then glued it on the top of the brush/lid it’s really helpful

This video will always have a special place in my heart because it's the very first Safiya video I watched and it's what started my love for her channel! I also really like make-up themed videos. Not so much tutorials but just watching people put on and sort out their make-up if that makes sense.

I used to be able to wear the same outfit for a week without washing it but then I grew up and now I have to wash my clothes. I also used to be able to keep my hair in the same plait for ages and sleep in it and only take it out to wash it (which used to be rarely)

To be fair, aside from a few clumps, it was in miraculously good shape.
I have also 100% used my mothers mascara that she had since she was a teenager 😂 It smelt so chemically and weird but it went on just fine so 🤷🏼♀️ (it has now been thrown away)
