Lisa's husband, Andy here. The thing is that the GM isn't going to stand up and say ' yes, we are shit!'. That'll publicly undermine the coaches, players and himself and he will have to throw himself onto his sword, he's buying time. The thing is that the stats are showing that things aren't going well and the baseball media and the fanbase aren't stupid. If this carries on, it is growing increasingly toxic and major changes WILL have to come. The question is 'Where will the blame go?'. GM? Coaching? Players? All the bloody lot of them? Go Jays.

If the jays can manage 500 at the halfway point they will still have a good chance to get moving. I have been watching the Jays since 1977 when they started. All teams have bad years and successful years it all depends on management finding some good trades to improve. I do not agree trading away prospects to bring in 1 player that might not stay long term. Atkins over the last few years has brought in band aids to help the team and traded some good players. They cannot keep doing that the players on the team now are good players just need more time. Calm down they will start there are 4 months left.

I've been watching them since 1989. This team is frustrating because it's like they have no identity. The home run jacket gave them that. Teo and Lourdes gave them that. They could and probably will do better but even though its early to late comes fast
