- An overview about ready's player one omnidirectional VR treadmill. Do we have a ready-player-one treadmill in real life? Can the infinideck properly compete with it? Going over the details and the feasibility of such a design (slatbelt motorized treadmill) and possible solutions.

As far as a software algorithm to watch the players movement and predict acceleration. We don’t even need to write it. Just take the machine learning algorithms we are already using for self driving cars and retrain on the camera data from the treadmill.
Great video!
great vid
What about reading where the shoes are gonna be, predict where they will go, and move accordingly?
Awesome, do you have any other media platforms?
Nope, just youtubing
gem channel
The film used the Infinadeck : )
You know that for a fact? If so, would love to see source

By the way i appreciate your video about VR Locomotion, it's a rare topic on youtube
@@gamecity7265 Ahh yes, thank you; I suspected something like that but couldn't find source. I was kinda hoping to find a behind the scenes footage of that for this clip. Regardless it would still be false to say they "used the infinadeck", rather they used a variation of the inifinadeck that behaves in a technologically much more advanced manner than the actual infinadeck thanks to Hollywood magic.
@@Larpushka vrscout.com/news/vr-locomotion-ready-player-one/. We can see the Infinadeck logo on the treadmill (2nd photo)
That's not Infinadeck. It's 100% CG. Omidirectional treadmills have no control mechanism sensitive or fast enough to control servo motors like that.
Ready player one type game will happen the demand is way to high. There are to many sources of medial who show off this kind of game and so many people want to play it. probably 5-10 years with this current demand.
It can be - looks nothing like infinadeck though hahahahaha
