10:12 this staircase seen on the right is actually the players entrance to the field. Pretty unique to see the players walk down the stairs instead of just coming out of a tunnel
Our business partner has a company in Kerkrade near the stadium and also is a board member of the FC. We were acomodated in the hotel directly on the stadium. It is very nice stadium.
Cambuur Stadion has been replaced by a newly built one which is opening for this season. The intention was for it to be christened with an Eredivisie game, but... Cambuur got relegated.
Some very unique stadiums here. Breda and Groningen had really nice ones, but imagine an away day to AZ Alkmaar or Utrecht’s 2nd teams… bit of a disappointment!
interesting fact about the 711 stadion: the score board is just a high pole where baskets ar hung for every goal scored. home goals on the left and away goals on the right.

Been to all these stadiums for years with Almere. Stadium of Kerkrade is nice, Venlo's has a lot character. Its sad that Cambuur will move away from its location, the stadium itself now is okay at best but its right in the city which I always love. They'll move to the outskirts of Leeuwarden. Its also weird seeing the stadium of Groningen in the video.. but every once in a while some big club gets relegated. FC Twente, Heracles Almelo are some examples in the past. But fun to go to those stadiums even if it is in the Eerste Divisie

The complex of the youth of AZ Alkmaar is not located in Alkmaar but in Wijdewormer and u named the complex ´´ The Future´´( De Toekomst) of Ajax is in Oude-Amstel . So u know the real place of Ajax but not from AZ.
The official sponsor name is 'Keuken Kampioen Divisie' which literally translates to 'Kitchen Champion Division'

The opening has been delayed to december 2023-march 2024. It won't see that many games the coming season
