Living far away: New Zealand rural area

Living far from the cities in New Zealand... This is a glimpse of my life. Get to know a bit of my day as a countrysider of this beautiful island in Oceania.
People ask me how it feels to live far away. I can only think of the peace and silence, that allows us to truly connect to nature. I never thought I would like living far from the city, but here I am, enjoying every second of it!
My home is located in the province of Canterbury, and very close to Lake Tekapo, a small touristic village in the South Island of New Zealand. Around my house there are mostly farms, mountains, animals, and very few houses and cottages. If you seek peace, this is the place to be.

I'm on the other side of the world, in the south of Brazil! When I was young I lived in big cities! Now, at 52 years old, I live in a small town! I like the silence and the view from my apartment here! But the place you live in New Zealand is very beautiful and if you can work from home it's perfect! A hug! Best Regards!!!
