- A report by Acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka has found that
President Cyril Ramaphosa didn't violate the Executive Ethics Code in
relation to the Phala Phala theft.
Some opposition parties are now planning to challenge the findings,
which have been described as illogical.
Constitutional law expert Adv. Paul Hoffman says Gcaleka could have
done better on the report.

Very encouraging to see Adv. Hoffman echoe the sentiments of Prof. Seepe. It means there is still hope for free and unbiased commentary in the mainstream media.
It is quite shocking to hear Hoffman say this. Phela is a Ramaphosa fan this one.
Adv. Hoffman is clear that Ramaphosa's behavior was unconstitutional.
She is still a junior juror as Prof Seepe said. Or she did it deliberately, to place herself in an advantage to succeed in the position of PP. Even if Adv dismisses that, it may be true.
Adv Hohman is always on point.

The big question is ..."where are the dollars now? Was the money recovered when ramaphosa abused his power and went gangster in Namibia. Where is the money.

I personally feel that Kholeka Gcaleka is inexperienced, incompetent and lacks accountability as well. She doesnt seem to be having interest of the people of South Africa at heart. Her intelligence is being undermined by her desire to become permanently appointed as a Public Protector, and that , makes her lose sight of quiet a number of issues patterning Phalaphala Farm Gate scandal. She is not OBJECTIVE. Who is she to counter act the FINDINGs as stated in the PHALAPHALA REPORT which its investigation was conducted by the Legal gurus such as abo baba uSandile Nqobo. Then she thinks she could just come and rubbish their hard work.?
This has nothing to do with her incompetence and inexperience. She simply has a mandate to destroy the Phala Phala matter so that the country no longer speaks about it. She is doing her job very well in that regard.

People, the adhoc commitee in parliament has opened up the nominations for recruiting a new PP. Please let us have our say in this matter.
We need a senior council for this position, this time. I was thinking about Adv Ngalwana SC. The man is a respected lawyer and, he enjoys a wealth of legal knowledge and experience. We need some one who is going to clean up that office. A person whom SOME of those stooges in that office will not undermine. A man that even judges and politicians will not intimidate.
Adv. Ngalwana SC for me is that person whom our country needs so desperately to occupy that office
Adv Ngalwana will be associated with adv Sikhakhane, just as a ploy to attack him. And, indeed he can be a good candidate for that position. He is very invested and anchored in law, he also have experience as acting judge.

It was expected of the Ramaphosa protector that she would find nothing wrong. Her mandate is to protect the monumental nose at all cost.
My big question is why are the suspect not arrested 1 is on bail on another matter and attending court in Cape Town.
Every one has his her own explanation ...that is why we have hierarchy of courts. Now as a lawyer myself ,i have a different decision on the judgment of the pp. Furthermore many comment on hearsay of pp while she judged on the evidence and witnesses before him. Adv Hoffman missed a critical point, no one is allowed to report a case to the Hawks,cases are referred to the Hawks by the relevant police station on the basis of the veracity of the amount of money or fraud involved.
Listen to to the Prof attentively and objectively.

That one will arrive to the same conclusions to what Gcaleka has, she defended Ramaphosa long time ago, saying, what happened in Phala Phala was not corruption! You guys you must follow politics all the way. As we speak right now, the State Capture report is stagnant because people like her and other verbal witnesses will now have to face the court not the commission. She was supposed to appear even on that commission coz she was implicated several times, by Ben Ngubane, Brian Molefe, Matshela Koko and others, but it was okay for her not to come, and that's confusing, if Zuma had to end up in cells for failing to attend, while names like Arthur Fraser, are known to have rejected coming before that commission, according to Zondo himself, and he did nothing about it, or he was afraid, he would expose other corruption on Ramaphosa side!

To me there is a difference between Administrative process of the farm EG financial responsibilities of the farm employees and the Owner of the farm. There is a delegation inn responsibilities to administer the all affairs of the farm. To me this on its own is a challenge to conclusively and successfully punish The President.
