We are starting up a CTV operation and need to equip locations for cost effective video origination in several locations in the US, Canada, and the UK. For our broadcasting needs this unit seems to be a better fit than the ATEM product line from Black Magic. I look forward to discussing our workflow with you to see what can be improved.

Thanks for the video. Does this unit suffer the same mjpeg latency on the USB port like the Atem mini? Using the Atem mini as webcam for online meeting is a pain because of the latency and awful RGB conversion.

I'm not familiar with how bad the Atem mini's latency is but there isn't a noticeable delay when using the HVS0402U as a capture device

I prefer the AVMatrix over ATEM mini but it really depends of how you are going to use it.
With the atem mini to use all functions you need a computer with the AV matrix you don’t. You can access every feature on the AV matrix without a computer. It also has an on/off button which I appreciate.
Even using it as a webcam with OBS or Screenflow I prefer the Av Matrix. I sent my atem mini back.
And I do not miss it. The av Matrix paired with a small monitor for multi view and a HDMI recorder make a very portable system.

Good info but you failed to mention POP function. Seems some reviewers mention one thing but not the other so I have to watch 20 videos to get the complete info on the device.

AV Matrix is the manufacturer. There are other brands that buy from them and put their name on it.
